Pre-Populated Schedules
What is it?
A Pre-Populated Schedule is set up in Kronos to automatically populate hours to your timesheet. If you tend to work a steady schedule without many changes, then this might be right for you!
Who is eligible?
Biweekly Exempt employees only, no biweekly Non-Exempt employees can have a Pre-Populated Schedule because they are hourly paid and therefore their time will vary.
Monthly Non-Exempt employees can have a Flexible Schedule as long as it does not go over 40 hours per week.
A Pre-Populated Schedule is not a good option for you if:
You don't have a set schedule
You charge your time to multiple templates
Note: If you change your time on a Pre-Populated Schedule, Kronos suspends the whole day and no Leave Requests or any other automatic changes will populate on the timesheet.
How to request a Pre-Populated Schedule
Talk to your supervisor and if you both decide that this is a good option for you, please have your supervisor contact DNR Payroll.
If you have a Flexible Schedule, for example a 44/36 or four 10s, please provide DNR Payroll with the Flexible Work Arrangement form.
