Kronos for Supervisors & Admins.
Supervisors should approve all employees timesheets at the end of each pay period, after the employee has approved their timesheet. See Payroll Schedules.
Adequate approval includes checking payroll templates, checking the submitted hours and schedule with the expected hours and schedule, and reviewing total hours in the pay period for reasonableness. For example, a Biweekly employee submits their timesheet and has 160 hours, this is not a reasonable amount of hours in a biweekly time frame.
If an employee had an error in their timesheet, please work with them and view the Kronos Job Aids. Any questions, contact DNR Payroll.
Leave Without Pay (LWOP)
If there will be an extended absence due to FML, Worker's Comp, Short Term Disability, or other Protected Leave and the employee has run out of paid Leave, please contact DNR_Payroll@state.co.us and DNR_HR_EmployeeLeave@state.co.us. If an employee has run out of Leave and is out for a shorter amount of time due to vacation or illness that was approved by the supervisor, the Leave Without Pay (LWOP) Pay Code should be added to the timesheet. For Monthly employees and Biweekly Exempt employees an adjustment for this will be made in a future Pay Period.
