Colorado Operations Resource Engine (CORE) is the system which integrates the State’s accounting, budget, and procurement functions for the management of the State’s financial operations. Colorado Operations Resource Engine replaced the antiquated legacy system Colorado Financial Reporting System (COFRS) and other legacy systems in July 2014.

If you are a new hire or transferred to a new position that requires you to have access to CORE, please fill out the CORE Security Access Request Form. Please obtain all necessary signature approvals, then submit the Form to the DNR Controller for final approval and setup. If you need assistance, please contact your division Fiscal Liaison first and discuss the level of access you need to perform your job functions.
