The Department of Natural Resources Executive Director's Office Accounting team strives to provide excellent customer service to external and internal customers. We are here to support and help divisional staff and financial service teams to ensure that all transactions meet departmental, state, and federal standards.

What's New
4/15/2024 Last week we hired Summer Goetz as the Accounts Payable Accountant I; she was previously the Accounting Technician II. We know you'll enjoy working with Summer if you haven't already!
4/8/2024 We are happy to announce that Glenn Ehlert is now our Federal Grants Accountant II! He previously was working as our SLFRF Accountant II. David Greider has taken a new position with Procurement. We wish him the best with his new team!
4/3/2024 CORE 4 goes live! Please bear with us as will be working to update all Job Aids on our DNR Intranet Accounting sections as soon as possible. We have waited until the CORE folks had the most up to date job aids until starting to update ours, and that includes the Accounts Payable Accounting Training slides (over 117 slides) that I personally will be updating. Please do know that CORE 4 has great job aids under "Topics" on the new core.state.co.us website.
4/1/2024 As of today, Denisse Cortez is our Accounts Payable Accountant II; formerly our Accounts Payable Accountant I. Denisse came to us over 18 months ago, with wonderful customer service, intellect and a glowing reference letter from her former government employer of 10 years where she was in accounts payable. I am sure you will enjoy working with her if you have not already!
3/25/2024 It's Spring and changes are in the air! March 27 will be Pegah Shokrani's last day with DNR Accounts Payable. We are grateful for her excellent service and dedication for many years and wish her all the best in her next endeavor. We are in the process of interviewing for that position. March 29 will be David Greider's final day as the federal grants accountant; we are grateful for his wonderful work this past year and wish him well as he joins the procurement team of DNR on April 1. We will of course be filling this position as soon as possible.
