Add the Total rate to the Medicare rate of 1.45%.  For example, Total PERA rate as of 1/1/2024: 

21.61% + 1.45% = 23.06%

For State Troopers  

Total PERA rate as of 1/1/2024:  

24.31% + 1.45% = 25.76%
