Camouflage. A squealer can attempt (d%; 01-75) to camouflage itself in tree or similar vegetation. It is effectively invisible if camouflaged.
Grab. If a squealer hits a target with both claw attacks, it will automatically grapple (grab) the target. The next round, the creature drops on it, doing 1d4+4 crushing damage to a Man-sized or smaller target and attacks it with all four claws and a bite attack. If the squealer was in a tree when dropping on the target, the target will be prone (no save).
Imitate Sounds. A squealer can imitate many sounds perfectly, so it will imitate the distress calls, death shrieks, mating calls, etc., of other creatures to attract prey.
Surprise Attack. A squealer that attacks a target with the surprised condition gains a +2 bonus on attack and damage rolls.
Squealers are carnivorous predators found in dense forests. They are voracious creatures and spend a good part of their day hunting food.
Squealers communicate with others of their kind using a series of grunts, growls, and squeals. They cannot speak any known language. A typical squealer stands 9 feet tall and weighs about 400 pounds.
Description. This creature is about the size of a large gorilla. Its fur is long and yellowish-green in alternating splotches. Its shoulders are hunched and it has a forward-thrusting, pig-like head. Razor-sharp teeth line its mouth. Its four forelimbs sprout from its body – two from the hunched back and the other two from high on the hindquarters. A fifth limb grows from the middle of its back.
