Pedipalps. Pedipalps are also called whip scorpions. False spiders are spider-like creatures that are very aggressive and highly predatory in nature, often hunting at night when the element of surprise is theirs to be had. False spiders dwell in shallow burrows which the dig with their massive pincers.Â
Solifugids. Solifugae is an order of animals in the class Arachnida known variously as camel spiders, wind scorpions, sun spiders, or solifuges. Despite the common names, they are neither true scorpions nor true spiders. Most species of Solifugae live in dry climates and feed opportunistically on animals, giant insects, or humanoids. The creature's jaws are large pincers capable of shearing through bone or chitin. Like most other arachnids, although Solifugae appear to have five pairs of legs, only the hind four pairs actually are "true" legs. The front pair are pedipalps used for sensing, climbing, and grabbing prey. These creatures are sometimes known to "click" their jaws together when preparing to attack.

Grab (Hug). A creature hit by a solifugid's pedipalp will be automatically grabbed (grappled). Thereafter, the creature will bite the victim using its mandibles until it lies in pieces. The solifugid then dissolves the pieces with saliva similar to other arachnids. Victims can escape the grapple the normal way.

This creature looks like a cross between a spider and a scorpion. It has six legs and two thin antennae that constantly writhe and wriggle. Two large scorpion-like pincers protrude from just in front of its foremost legs, and a whip-like tail extends from the end of its abdomen.
Pedipalps are also called whip scorpions. False spiders are spider-like creatures that are very aggressive and highly predatory in nature, often hunting at night when the element of surprise is theirs to be had. False spiders dwell in shallow burrows which the dig with their massive pincers. There are two kinds of false spiders: pedipalps and solifugids.
Large pedipalps cannot grab prey more than 2-ft. long or tall.
