Known as the pride of Merritt Square, Tony Parson played varsity soccer for Falcon teams that won back to back PCL soccer crowns in 1966 & 1967. Parson was voted 1st team All-Catholic after his junior and senior seasons. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the Army and served three years in Germany in the missile unit. After his service to his country, Tony Parson returned to Philly and coached youth soccer in the river ward neighborhoods.
His son Tony is currently an assistant coach at Father Judge.
