Ryan Burke made his start in soccer with his CYO teams at Holy Name of Jesus in Fishtown. He then became a 3-year varsity player while at North. Burke played forward and midfield and scored 13 goals in his varsity career. He also helped lead North Catholic to a PCL final appearance in his junior season in 1994. As a senior, he earned 1st All-Catholic League honors and was team MVP.
Burke then went on to play college soccer at Philadelphia Textile (Phila U) along with fellow Falcon Hall of Famer Pat Morris. He became a marking back while in College. After graduating from Textile, he recently earned his master’s degree.
