North vs. Frankford

The Thanksgiving Day Football rivalry was not the only hard fought battle between North Catholic and Frankford. Nearly every year since the opening of North, the two schools battled it out on the soccer pitch. These matchups often pitted teammates from Lighthouse, Kensington and Juniata soccer clubs against one another for neighborhood bragging rights. There were even some cases were brothers wound up playing for different sides in this matchup.
