John Kirchenbauer made many outstanding plays but none bigger than his assist on Tim O’Neill’s goal in the PCL finals against Ryan in 1999. He was also a starting player for the PCL Champion Falcons in 2001. Again Kirchenbauer helped set up the game-winning goal by Tim Greer. A city of Philadelphia Resolution Honoring the Falcons 2001 Championship team mentions John Kirchenbauer by name for setting up the goal to win the PCL title. He was also named All-Catholic after his junior & senior campaigns.
In College, John would go on to earn a varsity letter in soccer for the Drexel Dragons in 2003 before concentrating on academics and getting a marketing degree. He played competitive club soccer in the area while working for the City of Phila. Dept. of Parks and recreation.
