Ray Lynch (St. Hugh) was a two year starting player for North Catholic during the City League Schedule format when North played against the Public Leagues best teams as well as against local College freshman and JV teams. Lynch was a key player on the 1937 Falcon team that went 10-0-2 during the season. The team also won a share of the City Championship of Philadelphia when it played Gratz to a 0-0 stalemate in the finals.
For his dedication to the game of Soccer Ray Lynch was inducted into the SEPA Soccer Hall of Fame in 2014.
