From Ascension Parish in Kensington, Bobby Kane started youth soccer at Lighthouse and was a 2-year varsity player for North. He started 2 seasons for the Falcons, first as a forward and then as a tough and skillful defender. He was a member of the 1979 PCL & City soccer Champs. Kane was voted 1st team All-Catholic and All-City after his junior and senior seasons.
Bobby Kane would go on to play soccer for 3 seasons at Drexel University (1981-83) helping Drexel to the ECC championship in both 1981 & 1983. In the 1981championship season he was joined by fellow falcon stars Billy “Tigger” Kiger and John Regan. Bobby and Kiger again hoisted the ECC crown in 1983.
Today Bobby lives in Phoenix, Arizona where he is senior Vice-President at Insight Enterprises; a Fortune 500 global technology provider.
