Tom Oliver '52

Tom Oliver is from the Kensington section of Philadelphia. Oliver was very unique as he was a four year varsity player at North Catholic. In his junior season the Falcons played for the “Terry Cup” in the City title match in 1950 but lost to Northeast public for their only loss of the season. Oliver was team captain for his senior year and went on to be named 1st team All-Independent & All-Scholastic in 1951. Tom Oliver was also inducted into the SE Pennsylvania Soccer Hall of Fame in 1987.
