Chinavia teretis (Rolston)

Acrosternum (Chinavia) teretis Rolston, 1983: 158–160, figs. 177–180.

Coloration. Predominantly green. The lateral margins of juga black, and margins of pronotum red, both followed with an orange band. Black spots present on lateral margins of cicatrices. Connexivum orange and urosternites black. Black macula in the posterolateral angles of connexivum and urosternite. Head. Margins of juga with a slight concavity in front of eyes, apex of head large and semicircular. Proportion of antennal segments: I<II<III≈IV>V. Rostrum reaches the metacoxae. Proportion of rostral segments: I<II>III>IV. Thorax. Anterolateral margins of pronotum with a submarginal dorsal depression. Humeral angle produced laterad. Hemelytra with costal angles slightly obtuse. Membranal suture convex. Abdomen. Medial spine of third urosternite reaches the metacoxae. Spiracles black.

Comments. Similar to C. rideri but can be distinguished by the concavity in the juga and by the medial spine of third urosternite terminating between the metacoxae.
