Chinavia rideri (Frey-da-Silva and Grazia)

Acrosternum (Chinavia) rideri Frey-da-Silva and Grazia, 2001: 120–125, figs. 4, 11–13, 20–22, 26, 29.

Coloration. Predominantly green. The lateral margins of juga and pronotum are black, the colored bands are orange. Black spots present in mesial and lateral margins of pronotum cicatrices. Cicatrices on propleura black. Scutellum apex orange. Connexivum and urosternites orange. Black spots covering the anterior and posterior portion of connexivum and urosternites. Head. Margins of juga with a slight concavity in front of eyes, apex of head broadened and semicircular. Proportion of antennal segments: I<II<III<IV>V. The rostrum reaches the metacoxae. Proportion of rostral segments: I<II>III>IV. Thorax. Anterolateral margins of pronotum with a submarginal dorsal depression. Hemelytra with costal angles slighty obtuse. Membranal suture convex. Abdomen. Medial spine of the third urosternite doesn’t reach the metacoxae. Spiracles black surrounded by a green callus.

Distribution. Brazil (AM, BA, MT, GO, MG, DF, SP).

Families of plants as possible hosts. Fabaceae (Schwertner & Grazia 2007).
