Coloration. Predominantly green. The lateral margins of juga and pronotum are black, followed by an orange band. Black spots on the inner margin of the cicatrices of pronotum. Connexivum and urosternites orange. Black macula in the posterolateral angles of connexivum and urosternite. Head. Margins of juga with a strong concavity in front of eyes, apex of head broadened and semicircular. Proportion of antennal segments: I<II<III<IV≈V. Rostrum reaches the metacoxae. Proportion of rostral segments: I<II>III>IV. Thorax. Anterolateral margins of pronotum with a submarginal dorsal depression. Hemelytra with costal angles slightly obtuse. Membranal suture convex. Abdomen. Medial spine of third urosternite reaches the metacoxae. Spiracles black.

Comments. It occurs in Venezuela, similar to C. heissi, but it can be distinguished by the presence of dorsal submarginal depression on pronotum and the abdominal spine little longer in C. neoteretis.
