Chinavia musiva (Berg)

Nezara musiva Berg, 1878: 26–27.

Coloration. Green with black macules on the external margins of pronotum cicatrices, humeral angle, scutellum basis and for all the corium. The margins and colored bands of juga and pronotum are green. The connexivum and urosternite are green. Black macula covering all the anterior and posterior band of urosternite and connexivum. Head. Margins of juga with a slight concavity in front of eyes, apex of head broadened and semicircular. Proportion of antennal segments: I<II<III<IV>V. Rostrum reaching 4th segment of urosternite. Proportion of rostral segments: I<II>III≈IV. Thorax. Anterolateral margins of pronotum with a submarginal dorsal depression. Hemelytra with costal angles slighty obtuse. Membranal suture convex. Abdomen. Medial spine of the third urosternite doesn’t reachthe metacoxae. Spiracles black surrounded by a green callus.

Distribution. Brazil (RS), Chile*, Argentina (JY, CH**, TUC, LR, SF, SJ, CB**, ER**, SL, MZ**, BA, LP**), Uruguay.

Families of plants as possible hosts. Anarcadiaceae (Schwertner & Grazia 2007), Fabaceae (Schwertner & Grazia 2007), Rutaceae (Schwertner & Grazia 2007).

Comments. This species is distinguished from the others by the pattern of coloration light green body with black macules all over the dorsal region and rostrum reaching 4th segment of urosternite.
