Chinavia macdonaldi (Rolston)

Coloration. Predominantly green. The lateral margins of juga and pronotum are black, followed by a yellow band. Apex of scutellum orange. Connexivum orange and urosternite yellow. Black macula on the posterior portion of urosternite. Head. Margins of juga with a strong concavity in front of eyes, apex of head broadened and semicircular. Proportion of antennal segments: I<II<III≈IV≈V. Rostrum surpasses the metacoxae. Proportion of rostral segments: I<II>III>IV. Thorax. Anterolateral margins of pronotum with a submarginal dorsal depression. Hemelytra with costal angles slightly obtuse. Membranal suture convex. Abdomen. Medial spine of third urosternite reaches the metacoxae. Spiracles green.

Comments. Species that occurs in Panama, can be diagnosed by the apex of scutellum orange and by the medial spine of third urosternite reaching but not surpassing the metacoxae.
