Chinavia pontagrossensis (Frey-da-Silva and Grazia)

Acrosternum (Chinavia) pontagrossensis Frey-da-Silva and Grazia, 2001: 117–120, figs. 3, 25, 28.

Coloration. Predominantly green. The lateral margins of juga and pronotum are black, followed by an orange band. Cicatrices of pronotum sometimes with black spots on mesial limits, or on lateral margins, or absent. Scutellum with five irregular yellow dots on the basis. Connxevium and urosternites orange. Black macula covering the anterior and posterior portions of urosternite and connexivum. Head. Margins of juga with a slight concavity in front of eyes, apex of head large and semicircular. Proportion of antennal segments: I<II<III<IV<V. The rostrum reaches the metacoxae. Proportion of rostral segments: I<II>III>IV. Thorax. Anterolateral margins of pronotum without a submarginal dorsal depression. Hemelytra with costal angles slighty obtuse. Membranal suture convex. Abdomen. Medial spine of the third urosternite reaches the metacoxae. Spiracles black surrounded by a yellow callus.

Distribution. Brazil (SP, PR).
