Chinavia occasi (Rolston)

Acrosternum (Chinavia) occasi Rolston, 1983: 145–147, fig. 131.

Coloration. Predominantly green. The lateral margins of juga and pronotum are black, followed by a yellow band. Basal angles of scutellum with 1+1 yellow spots. Apex of scutellum yellow. Connexivum and urosternite yellow. Black macula in the posterolateral angles of connexivum and urosternite. Antennae segments IV and V red. Head. Margins of juga with a slight concavity in front of eyes, apex of head large and semicircular. Proportion of antennal segments: I<II≈III<IV>V. Rostrum reaches the metacoxae. Proportion of rostral segments: I<II>III>IV. Thorax. Anterolateral margins of pronotum with a submarginal dorsal depression. Hemelytra with costal angles slightly obtuse. Membranal suture convex. Abdomen. Medial spine of third urosternite doesn’t reach the metacoxae. Spiracles green surrounded by a yellow callus.

Distribution. Chile, Argentina (CB).

Host plants. No information available.

Comments. The medial spine of third urosternite don’t reaching the metacoxae and articles IV and V of the antenna with red color are diagnostic.
