Chinavia pecosa (Rolston)

Acrosternum (Chinavia) pecosum Rolston, 1983: 132, figs. 80–81.

Coloration. Predominantly green. Dorsal punctation on head green, elsewhere black. The lateral margins of juga and pronotum are black, followed by an orange band. Apex of scutellum, connexivum and urosternites are yellow. Black macula in the posterolateral angles of urosternite. Head. Margins of juga with a strong concavity in front of eyes, apex of head broadened and semicircular. Proportion of antennal segments: I<II<III<IV≈V. Rostrum surpasses the metacoxae. Proportion of rostral segments: I<II>III>IV. Thorax. Anterolateral margins of pronotum with a submarginal dorsal depression. Hemelytra with costal angles slightly obtuse. Membranal suture convex. Abdomen. Medial spine of third urosternite reaches metacoxae. Spiracles black.
