Chinavia monticola (Rolston)

Acrosternum (Chinavia) monticola Rolston, 1983: 144-145, figs. 128–130.

Coloration. Predominantly green. The lateral margins of juga and pronotum are green, followed by a yellow band. Apex of scutellum orange. Connexivum green and urosternites yellow. Black macula in the posterior portion of urosternite. Head. Margins of juga with a strong concavity in front of eyes, apex of head broadened and semicircular. Proportion of antennal segments: I<II<III<IV≈V. Rostrum reaches the metacoxae. Proportion of rostral segments: I<II>III>IV. Thorax. Anterolateral margins of pronotum without a submarginal dorsal depression. Hemelytra with costal angles strongly obtuse. Straight sutural membrane. Abdomen. Medial spine of third urosternite reaches the metacoxae. Spiracles are green, surrounded by pale spots.
