Chinavia heissi (Grazia, Schwertner and Ferrari)

Coloration. Predominantly green. The lateral margins of juga and pronotum are black, followed by an orange band. Black spots on the inner margin of the cicatrices of pronotum. Apex of tibiae has a ferrugineous band. Connexivum orange and urosternites green. Black macula in the posterolateral angles of connexivum and urosternite. Head. Margins of juga with slight concavity in front of eyes, apex of head large and semicircular. Proportion of antennal segments: I<II≈III<IV≈V. Rostrum reaches the metacoxae. Proportion of rostral segments: I≈II>III>IV. Thorax. Anterolateral margins of pronotum without a submarginal dorsal depression. Hemelytra with costal angles slightly obtuse. Membranal suture convex. Abdomen. Medial spine of third urosternite reaches the metacoxae. Spiracles black.

Comments. Very similar to Chinavia neoteretis Grazia, Schwertner and Ferrari, but the anterolateral margin of the pronotum does not have a submarginal depression in C. heissi. Moreover, the abdominal spine in C. heissi is a little shorter compared to C. neoteretis.
