Chinavia australe (Rolston)

Acrosternum (Chinavia) australe Rolston, 1983: 150–152, figs. 148–152.

Coloration. Predominantly green. Lateral margins of juga and pronotum black, followed by yellow colored band. Scutellum with four irregular yellow dots on the basis. Apex of scutellum yellow. Connexivum green and urosternites orange. Black macula present in posterolateral angles of connexivum and urosternite. Red color on the trochanter and femur. Head. Margins of juga with a slight concavity in front of eyes, apex of head large and semicircular. Proportion of antennal segments: I<II<III≈IV>V. Rostrum surpassing metacoxae. Proportion of rostral segments: I<II≈III>IV. Thorax. Humeral angle obtuse. Anterolateral margins of pronotum with a submarginal dorsal depression. Hemelytra with costal angles slightly obtuse. Membranal suture convex. Abdomen. Medial spine of third urosternite doesn’t reach the metacoxae. Spiracles yellow, located externally to a yellow callus.

Distribution. Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Argentina (SA*, FO, CA*, SE*, SL, LR, SF, CD, SF, BA).
