Chinavia callosa (Rolston)

Acrosternum (Chinavia) callosum Rolston, 1983: 113-114, fig. 23–25.

Coloration. Predominantly green with callous surface with some yellow punctures. Lateral margins of juga and pronotum black., followed by a yellow band. Connexivum green and urosternites yellow. Black macula covering the entire posterior portion of the urosternite and connexivum. Head. Margins of juga with a slight concavity in front of the eyes, apex of head broadened and semicircular. Proportion of antennal segments: I<II<III<IV<V. Rostrum reaching metacoxae. Proportion of rostral segments: I<II>III>IV. Thorax. Anterolateral margins of pronotum with a submarginal dorsal depression. Hemelytra with costal angles slightly obtuse. Membranal suture convex. Abdomen. Medial spine of third urosternite surpassing mesocoxae. Remarkable presence of yellow calli surrounding transverse pseudosutures and sutures, both green. Spiracles green.

Distribution. Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina (SA, CH, SE).
