DoB:1949. His inlaws are from Chittoor. Satravada is a place his forefathers hailed from. In course of time, since his grandfather's time, the surname got changed from traditional Kollapuri surname to Satravada surname.

Seeing his discipline, Janata Party made him Town President in 1977-78

Won(as Independent) as 17th ward Councillor

He had served as railway contractor and won as TDP MLA@SKHT in 1985. Some opponents complained against him, the sitting MLA, that he was elected even as he was a railway contractor at the time of nomination. Hence, 2 years and a half after 1985, in 1987, he was disqualified. He did not contest in the by-election. In the bye-election, Mr.SriRama Murthy@TDP lost.

In the 1989 election, he proposed బొజ్జల గోపాల కృష్ణారెడ్డి@TDP.

54,000/2,48,000 voters(Yadavas/Gouds are next in population) of SKHT are AVKKs.

In 1987-88, he served as TUDA Chairman.

In 1994, he contested as Independent but withdrew as instructed by NTR. In 1999, he contested as Congress candidate against బొజ్జల గోపాల కృష్ణారెడ్డి but lost by 1000 votes difference.

His younger child, son, S.Praveen(now 40 yrs.), MBA is married and has his family. His elder child, daughter, Mrs.S.Lakshmikala, MBA@Tirupati, now a S/W Engr.@B'lore is married and has her family.

S.Praveen joined YSR Congress party in 2011. In 2014, he was State Youth Gen. Sec. In 2018, he was Chittoor Parliament election in-charge.

S.Praveen has iron castings industry. When a lift goes up, the weights pull down. He casts weights for lifts.
