As per the AP Reorganization Act, 2014, certain institutions serve both the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh till they are bifurcated. The below listed organizations and institutions should be seen in that light.
Most Backward Classes demand list of castes, categorisation
demanded that the government rectify the GO No16 and announce the complete list of various castes that are included in MBC category A meeting was held with the important members of MBC Sangham at Manchikanti Bhavan
MBC category people felt happy with the declaration of a separate corporation for MBC. But, the government had not released the list of various castes that are included in MBC category. The people belonging to Sanchara/Ardha Sanchara castes are still facing lot of hardships.
They are suffering from poverty and social discrimination. Reservation must be allotted to the people belonging to MBC by categorising them into A, B, C, D and E sub-castes along with allotting double bedroom houses to them. It is demanded GoT should construct community buildings with MLA and MP funds in every district along with sanctioning of Rs 2 lakh loan from corporation to the people belonging to MBC. The Competent authorities and their jurisdictions to issue the Backward Classes Castes/Communities Certificates (in respect of Groups A, B, C, D and E) shall be as per G.O.Ms.No.2 , SCD (POA.A2) Dept., Dated:22.01.2015, which is as follows:
