DoDEA employees wishing to retire from federal service are now working directly with the Army Benefits Center (ABC).
To start working on their retirement application, you will need to log into the GRB Platform
In the Retirement tab there is the Retirement Dashboard where they will be able to complete a retirement application. Once you submit, this will generate your official retirement forms in PDF format to print, sign and mail to ABC for processing.

You can request a retirement estimate under the Menu tab then click Requests.

FAQs about Separation Orders, if applicable:
1. When and where do we get our retirement ID card?
A) Attached is information about obtaining a retirement id after your separation has been processed.
2. How long after we retire do we get to store our NTE storage before we can move it to a stateside residence? If we need an extension, how do we get one?
A) Upon separation or transfer to CONUS, non-temporary storage (NTS) of household goods at Government expense terminates on the first day of the second month following the last day of work at the PDS. There is no extension eligibility.
3. For our household goods shipment, how long after we retire do we get for storage before we have to move it to a stateside residence? If we need an extension, how do we get one?
A) Storage in transit (SIT) of HHG not to exceed 90 days. There is no extension eligibility.
4. Once we submit our retirement paperwork, how long will it take to get orders?
A) Your retirement packet will be submitted to the CHRA ABC-C team for processing. Once you're retirement packet is submitted, you should begin your out-processing. Please see the attached separation packet that will guide you thru out-processing, to include submitting separation orders in TOPS; if applicable.
