A DoDEA-wide numerical grading scale for use in determining letter grades for students in grades 4 - 12 has been established:
A = 100 – 90
B = 89 – 80
C = 79 – 70
D= 69-60
F= 59 or below
The use of plus (+) or minus (-) signs with grade marks is authorized for use on report cards and permanent records cards. The “+” or “-” does not have any value in computing a student grade point average. In addition, teachers as the situation warrants approve the following grades for use:
To graduate from a DoDEA High School, students must have a cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.0.
