Administrative Leave

EXCUSED ABSENCE (ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE) occurs frequently for workshops, DSO meetings etc. It normally arises when official business cannot be done after the duty day due to the hours of business as set by the military. If such business can be conducted outside the teacher workday, the teacher is expected to do so. In those cases where such business cannot be conducted outside the teacher workday, the teacher can request an excused absence from duty without loss of pay or without charge of leave for up to 1/2 day.
