Voluntary Leave Program

DoDEA teachers are permitted to donate their Any Purpose Leave (APL) to other DoDEA educators who are experiencing medical or family medical emergencies. Only APL may be donated for this program.

Any educator who has a medical or family emergency that is likely to require his or her absence from duty for a prolonged period of time and result in a substantial loss of income due to the unavailability of paid leave, may apply to receive transferred leave from other educators.
