Letters sent to parents regarding classroom and departmental expectations must have administrative review. Classroom and departmental expectations should be written in a manner that reflects the teacher's interest in helping the students to learn. Policies should have a positive tone rather than a negative one.
Teachers at the middle and secondary levels are required to use the FEA/DODEA negotiated syllabus (below) to communicate classroom expectations.
All syllabi must be approved by school administration prior to distribution.
