ATTENDANCE PROCEDURES

1. Attendance will be taken in Aspen during the first 5 minutes of every period/at the beginning of the school day.

2. If a student is less than 10 minutes late to class, please request their tardy pass. The attendance will be altered in ASPEN by the main office.

3. If a student is more than 10 minutes late for class, they should be sent to the main office.

4. If you suspect or know that a student is skipping class, please inform the administration. Do not assume that because you are marking his/her name as absent each day that the truancy will be discovered.

Recording attendance is an extremely important part of your official duties.
