B1 - EXPLAIN HOW THE HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE PRACTITIONERS OWN VALUES, BELIEFS AND EXPERIENCES CAN INFLUENCE DELIVERY OF CARE.

Starter Activity

You are required to create a table on your own outlining at least 5 strong beliefs and values. Then give two positive and two negative experiences (personal, professional or within healthcare) that have changed your perspectives towards life.

Next - you are to share these with your teams and see whether you all share the same beliefs, values and experiences.

As you can see from the starter activity, we are ALL DIFFERENT, DIVERSE AND UNIQUE, therefore, as practitioner it is important to be aware and remember that we do not deliver care based on our values, beliefs and experiences as we may hinder the quality of care and support provided.

Who can influence our own belief system, attitudes and behaviours?
