Background: Colt grew up on the ranch with his father, sister and brother along with an extended family of ranch hands. He left the ranch and his overbearing father to join the Marines. There he found purpose and something to believe in. But just as he was about to enter Force Recon, his father died leaving the ranch to Colt. His brother, who always wanted the ranch, left and went missing.

Colt went to Chicago to find his missing brother James but instead he found a new world of trouble that needed his help. Since he came to Chicago, Colt and his sister managed to resurrect the business. Colt used his time in the big city to make sales contacts and build a reputation for their organic, grass fed beef. James's class ring was found under the city where Rat Hosts and crazed mole people were trying to collapse the structures above. Later the leader of the Rat Hosts, Heir to Visions, directed him to where the Plague Nun was keeping him captive. After killing another vampire, Justine Lasky, for her, he and his brother were reunited.

As a Mage, Colt has a rocky relationship with the Adamantine Arrow due to their manipulation of his Awakening and some rude behavior on the part of Kensai. In the end, he joined the Silver Ladder. He is currently being mentored by Athaliah and studying the Arcanum of Spirit under her tutelage. He is also taking care of the cabal's sanctum, the Engels House, where he now lives.

Following a visionary journey through Chicago, Colt discovered traces of ancient mages, including a long lost legacy they developed. He was aided in this by his old friend, the late Simon Ellsworth. He learned they were destroyed eons ago by the dark force lurking beneath the city, a fallen god. Now he is rebuilding the legacy in his own vision. His first student is Recon.

Now Colt embarks on a new journey as he learns to administer justice as Lictor under Nomos's guidance.

Description: A living archetype, Colt has sandy blond hair and blue eyes. His face is also characterized by his prominent jaw. His skin a copper sun worn color and small wrinkles have begun to appear around his eyes. Colt stands just over six feet tall with a well developed body, and a medium build. It is rare for people to see him without his beaten leather cowboy hat in public. He frequently wears boot cut jeans, a plain t-shirt or tank top, his hat, a bandanna and combat boots.
