Background: Born to wealth, a man once called Mammon followed his father's work ethic and became a successful venture capitalist. Rather than focus purely on wealth, this version of Mammon found love and a family. He had a wife Michelle and two children. Else and Jack.

Then in 1999, he became involved in a secret society called the Silver Reserve which led him on the first few steps to the Silver Ladder. He Awakened and became a potent force in the Silver Ladder. But thanks to Mr. Johnson, much of his wealth was lost when he first rejected the Seers. He fought back but the price continued to climb.

Then they grabbed his family and forced him to turn Norna over to the Seers when all seemed lost. They killed them anyway. The city was saved but even so it is declining. Since then, Mr. Johnson has made continual attacks on the Cryptologies. They are now just a shadow of their former selves. The city has burned and raged.

In the end he made a decision that erased much of his past. Trading his mortal life for the lore of Algol, he was now the most wanted man in the city. His own cabal doesn't know where he sleeps. Once rich and powerful, he is a beggar with the secret of a god. A secret he holds onto greedily. He knows the city is doomed and alone among the cabal he knows that this world is already dead.

He made a deal with a version of himself from another world and escaped. He promised to aid them defeat Algol. He seems to be pursuing Mastery and was recently the target of a potent Mind spell. Someone redirected the spell but who and how?

Description: Robert is a middle aged African American man of average height and dark completion. His hair is wild and unkept and his eyes are large and dark brown. He has a daily regiment of working out at the gym and practicing aikido and it shows in his well muscled frame. He dresses in the warm ragged clothing of a street person.
