The Banishers have a long history in Chicago, though one few have chronicled. Not since the years following the Mage War have they been so audacious. In those days when the Consilium was weak they moved with impunity, slaying Mages in their sanctums. Both apprentices and masters were in danger and it was only by using mortal means against them (especially the knights Protectorate), that their threat was ended.
