Adamantine Arrow Cabals:
History of Conflict
The Arrow has a long history in Chicago. The oldest existing cabal, the Iron Hand, belongs the Arrow. The sole survivors of the Mage War, they saw their power dimish as the other orders rebuilt themselves.
Now the order is marginalized and divided. Though they make up the bulk of the Sentinels of the city, they have no voice on the council. The majority of them live sequestered and training on the edge of the city at a Sanctum called the Monastery. A few are scattered about the Consilium, with the rest being members of the Iron Hand, a cabal focused on controlling the criminal element in the South Side.
With the rise of Lealtad's leadership there was a great deal of friction between the idealism of the Monastery and the ruthless strategists of the Iron Hand. This eventually led to Black Dog arranging the death of the Sentinel Hippolyta and the embarrassment of the Monastery. Discovered, Black Dog had to fight Lealtad for his freedom. He fell before her once more and was Banished. His followers left the city, depleting Chicago of fighters and upending the Gary Concilium.
Afterward Lealtad's poor judgement led to further damage and deaths. Finally Valkyrie had to seize control of the order.
