Background: Great Fire Spirit, once known as Blazing Iron Star in an age so ancient it has faded from myth, is a demonic spirit that ravaged Chicago 134 years ago.
Its beginnings start in an age that no longer exists when it served the god Algol as a minor spirit in its entourage. A spirit of meteors, it reveled in the falling of stars. But when its own god vanished in the destruction of the Fall, it was left in the cold wastes of outer space, turning inward on itself in hunger and rage. It was whispered to by beings from a realm beyond the stars, a demonic realm of pain and sin. Their whispers corrupted it, making it one of them.
Then it was called. Its path turned and it fell to earth in a blaze that destroyed an entire civilization. None remember these people or the mighty magics they wielded.
Warm again, Blazing Iron Star found that time had changed it. It could no longer subsist on fire and pitted iron from the stars. It was pulled down into Hell.
There the powerful demon dwelled until the Dark Man using forbidden magics called it back to this world. A star fell from the heavens. The Midwest burned. Now called the Great Fire Spirit, it tore at the chains that held its lord of old to the land until the defenders of this land turned it back.
Mighty werewolves, Masters of the Arcana, and more died at its claws. But a final band, led by the White Lady, met it in shadow, where weakened by rain and river spirits, they banished it back to Hell.
Since then it has slumbered fitfully, dreaming of fire.
Description: A vast titan of flames and spiked glowing hot iron, this demon moves slowly reveling in the destruction caused by its presence. Its eyes are white hot flames, its breath melts steel. It strides the earth on seven iron shod hooves and claws the world apart with three hands ending in jagged iron claws.
