Religion is nothing more than men and women living according to a personal assessment of good and evil (knowledge without life), and attempting to cover their shame with something less than Christ. Through religion, man perpetuates the age-old story of Adam and the two trees, seeking to be like God independent of the life that only He can impart. And to whatever extent Christianity is anything less than a genuine experience of the Tree of Life, it is no different than any religion.
