There is only one church. All the elect of God are that church.
The denominations and factions are just a terrible division around doctrine that creates the appearance of many churches. It is sad and in fact a disaster that the church is so divided against itself.
Doctrine is important and we cannot fellowship with all people regardless of doctrine but the divisions are not of God.
The Church is a building!
A spiritual building with all the saints as living stones.
The powerful administration and marketing systems we create might appear to help from time to time but in the end they are of a different type of technology than that which God uses. Compare animals with robots - very different.
We will need to wisen up a lot for the days ahead, and at Stauros we are working on perfecting the saints and the church in anticipation of Christ's return
4 Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious,
5 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
6 Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, “Behold, I lay in Zion A chief cornerstone, elect, precious, And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.”
