Language used in Italian universities. Some have all their courses taught in Italian AND English, some just the first three years are in English, some are only for Italian speakers. Check the website of the university of your interest.
Specific question about Computer engeneering: the prestigious Politecnico di Torino and Politecnico di Milano have this subject taught in English, some other smaller universities have it as well.

It depends by the subject.
There is a test for

How much does it cost?
Probably cheaper than in the UK. 😀
Public universities are cheaper than private ones.
Tuition fees vary locally and depends by different factors (e.g. family financial condition).
Cost of living also varies (in big towns such as Milan, Turin, Rome is diffucult to find accomodation and price are higher than in smaller town).
What the Italian system of education looks like?
- three-year bachelor’s degree called the laurea triennale, which can be followed by the two-year master’s degree (laurea magistrale). There is a credit system in place to quantify the amount of work needed to pass each course (eg. 25 work hours = 1 credit also called ECTS or CFU), as well as an opportunity for students to change their course or continue their studies abroad after three years. Students wishing to study law must take the five-year Laurea Magistrale a Ciclo Unico, while medicine students must take a six-year degree, dentistry is 6 years, CTF (Pharmacy, Chemestry and Pharmaceutical Technologies) 5 years, veterinay 5 years, Architecture 5 years, Pedagogy (Scienza della formazione primaria) 5 years.
What about the quality?
It is difficult to evaluate and compare different universities. Many ranking exists, not always trustfull. In any case the rank by subjects and not the general ranking of the university is the most important.
Many ranking, different results.
The most respected Italian ranking is
CLASSIFICA CENSIS - LA REPUBBLICA.
