Original Date of Post: 08/02/2009
Narrator: The cast and crew of Romance 102 would like to take a moment of silence for all of our fallen soldiers…
Steven: (Phone rings) Hello? Oh! Yes sir? Well…No, I didn’t get anything in the mail. I’m sorry…could you run that by me again? Oh my! Oh no! Do you really need me to go back? But I thought that I severed my time and that…Okay…This coming weekend? (Sighs) Please sir, isn’t there anything I can do to get off from this? I have a child and…Is that what you really do to people who don’t go? I hate to think what you do to the real traitors. (Winona walks into the room) Ah…yes, thanks for the report. I will talk to you about…sports…later. (Hangs up)
Winona: Who was that?
Steven: Oh, one of my friends who wanted me to update him on the…Lakers game last night.
Winona: Oh? Steven, did you remember to get the mail yesterday?
Steven: Oh crap, I forgot! (He walks outside) Oh man. (Sighs) How am I going to break it to Winona that I’ll be leaving for active duty? (Opens the slot) Well for now, I’m just going to keep it to myself and tell Winona later. Let’s see what I’ve got…Huh? (Thinking) How the hell could there only be one letter? AND IT’S FROM THE ARMY?! Oh crap! I have to hide it! (Back inside)
Winona: So was there any mail?
Steven: Huh? Oh, no nothing. Nothing at all! (Nervous laugh)
Winona: You’ve been unusually weird this morning. If you broke another window again, I will break your… (Pulls back a curtain)
Steven: Honey, you’re being too paranoid. It’s just that I haven’t had my coffee yet.
Winona: I suppose so. (Turns on the television)
Reporter: …And in world news, the president has asked for an increase in troops in Afghanistan…
Winona: That’s horrible! It’s a good thing that you’ve served your time already.
Steven: …Right. (Police alarms blaring) What the hell? (They look out the window) Whoa, what’s going on?
Winona: Whoa! The S.W.A.T team is right down the street! (Misty walks in)
Misty: What’s all the noise?
Steven: Some sort of commotion across the street! (They open the door)
Lanette: I gotta take pictures of this! (She runs down the hall)
Winona: Why do you get a thrill out of taking crime-scene pictures? (Outside)
Joel: Any progress?
Hastings: Not yet Joel. We’re just trying to get him down from the building. (A car drives up)
Spenser: What happened?
Joel: A person trying to commit suicide. Chief Hastings is trying to talk him down, but it’s a no-go!
Hastings: I can’t reach out to this young man.
Joel: Ketchum, front and center. We’ll go together. (On the top of the building)
Reggie: Stupid people. They’re all pathetic. Every last one of them! This world just sickens me to the core… (A door opens) Huh?
Joel: Please, don’t do anything stupid.
Ash: Come on. We’re here to help. (He walks forward)
Reggie: Back off!
Joel: Ketchum, get back here.
Reggie: Did you say Ketchum? (Thinking) It…can’t be… (Growls)
Ash: Please, we just want to help you. Why don’t you come down with us and…?
Reggie: Life is meaningless. (Ash shivers) All of you are just pathetic!
Ash: (Thinking) He…He looks like…He sounds like… (Flashback to four years ago)
Paul: Life is meaningless. I couldn’t stand this world ever since I could remember. I can’t stand anybody or myself. What’s the point?
Ash: What’s going on with you?
Paul: You just don’t understand. (End of flashback)
Ash: (Thinking) He…He’s just like…Paul. (Back down below)
Spenser: Do you have a clear shot?
Aria: Almost. (Nearby)
Cameron: Stand back people. Stand back.
Misty: What’s going on?
Cameron: We’re in the middle of a stand-off! (Nearby)
Aria: (Silently) Almost got him…And…There’s the target! (Pulls the trigger and Reggie falls down)
Joel: Come on Ketchum, just grab him!
Ash: Is he…dead?
Joel: Not likely. He was just shot with a sedative. Aria must have shot this.
Ash: Aria did this? Is this legal?
Joel: Only in this state and in Mississippi. This should calm him down. Now let’s get him to the hospital. (Talks in the walkie-talkie) Chief, bring in the paramedics. (Back down below)
Aria: Everybody, get back! (Ash and Joel come down) Oh thank God. (She walks up to them) You sure know how to put yourself in danger.
Joel: Not at all Aria. It was a good thing you came in with the sedative when you did.
Ash: What’s going to happen to him?
Joel: For now, he’ll be in the hospital and he will be examined by a couple of doctors. You seem a little frazzled by all of this. Don’t tell me that this pressure is getting to you already. You seem pretty good with handling things like this.
Ash: Huh? No…I was thinking of something. I…I just need some time right now. I just need a little break.
Joel: Hmm, why don’t you take the rest of the day off Ketchum?
Ash: No really, I’m fine.
Joel: It’s okay. A comrade’s health is at top priority. I want you to get some rest.
Ash: Thanks.
Spenser: Come on, I’ll take you home.
Cameron: Back to your homes everybody. Nothing to see here!
Misty: Ash! ASH! (Ash sits in the car and rides away) Ash?
Winona: Come on Misty, they handled everything. Let’s get back. (She nods and walks back to the apartment) I hope Ash is okay.
Misty: I hope so too. When I saw him just now, he had a depressing look on his face.
Winona: Being a negotiator can take a lot out of a person. It’s a very stressful position.
Misty: Yeah. I suppose.
Winona: I’m going to take a shower before work. (She leaves the room)
Misty: You do that. Oh, what’s this? Hmm…Oh…What’s this? (Gasp)
Steven: Misty, I’m off to work!
Misty: You got drafted?
Steven: What? Where’d you get…? How did you…? I thought I hid…Don’t tell Winona!
Misty: Well gee, that’s going to be kind of hard when she notices that you’re not living here and you’re fighting in the war.
Steven: I will tell her…eventually. I just have to break it to her gently.
Misty: Steven, this is serious. You are being drafted back into combat and you are holding off on telling Winona. She does have a right to know! And the later you wait to tell her, the worse it’s going to be on the both of you.
Steven: All in time Misty. I just found out this morning that I’m being sent back this weekend.
Misty: THIS WEEKEND?
Steven: Misty, I’m begging you. You cannot tell her! I have to be the one to tell her.
Misty: (Sighs) Fine. (A little later at Ash’s house)
Oak: I’m home.
Delia: Ssh.
Oak: What’s wrong? Why are you telling me to be quiet?
Delia: Ash came home and he’s trying to take a nap. He had a hard morning involving a suicidal person.
Oak: Suicidal…
Ash: You don’t need to be quiet on my behalf.
Delia: Oh honey…Did you enjoy your nap?
Ash: I didn’t really take a nap. I wasn’t tired so I couldn’t really sleep. (A little later in the kitchen)
Delia: So why is it that you seem so sad son?
Ash: I can’t handle that.
Delia: The life of a cop?
Ash: No…What I did this morning! I had a harsh memory of something similar. Being on the rooftop…with a suicidal person! If Aria didn’t come in, I was afraid this guy was going to suffer the same fate as Paul.
Oak: Oh…I remember now! The memory of Paul triggered it!
Ash: You’ve got it. But when I confronted that guy today he said a lot of dark things that Paul said right before he died. Weirdest thing too, this guy looked an awful lot like Paul too.
Oak: You don’t say. And how is the young man from today?
Ash: He’s alive. He’s now being under close watch at the hospital. Once he’s fully recovered, I think they mentioned a mental evaluation. I sure hope Reggie will be okay.
Oak: Hmm… (Later at the high school) Paul...and Reggie? Huh? I remember Paul very clearly from several years ago...But did he have an older brother or perhaps a younger brother? Paul Silver…So that would make the other one Reggie Silver…Hmm, no one by that last name in Ash’s freshmen year. Perhaps he’s a bit older… (Back at Winona’s apartment)
Winona: Down the hatch! (Stephanie giggles) That’s a good girl. (Steven smiles) Now one more spoonful for me! Very good! Huh? Why do you keep staring at us Steven?
Steven: (Sighs) I just feel like my life is complete with you, Wallace, and Stephanie.
Winona: Well…I feel like my life is a lot happier with you too.
Steven: You really think so?
Winona: I know so. It feels like we’re one big happy family. You know how big I am with family. Before graduating high school, I thought my life was going to take a change for the better. Go to college and settle down! But of course, it didn’t go as planned after Wallace died. But then I had my son and…then I met you and it’s been great ever since the day we met.
Steven: Do you…ever think about Wallace?
Winona: Yes I do. It can’t be helped. Wallace was my first steady boyfriend and the father of my first child. But now this is my life. I have you and I have two wonderful kids. (The door opens) I wouldn’t give that up to my bad memories. Oh, hello Misty.
Misty: Hi. What’s going on?
Winona: Oh I was just feeding Stephanie.
Steven: Oh…and I was just doing some laundry. You know, folding clothes and such…Heh-heh! (Misty glares at him) Hey Winona, why don’t you put Stephanie down for her nap and I’ll draw you up a nice, hot bath.
Winona: Okay. Misty, I have some leftovers in the fridge if you get hungry. (She walks out of the room)
Misty: Did you tell her?
Steven: (Sighs) I was going to, but then…she kind of went into her “I love my family” speech for no reason! And that made it even harder for me to tell her.
Misty: Don’t give me that! If you don’t tell her I will.
Steven: No Misty. This doesn’t concern you!
Misty: I’ve been through the pain of dating someone in the Army.
Steven: Come again?
Misty: Ash was in the Army too.
Steven: I never knew he was. He didn’t get drafted, did he?
Misty: I don’t think so. Not this time.
Steven: But…
Misty: I know the pain of having someone you love in the Army. The loneliness you get without him by your side. The fear of getting that phone call or that visit from comrades to tell you that he’s dead! Winona’s been through too much and I don’t want to see her get hurt again! She’s already lost one person close to her in life!
Steven: (Sighs) I promise that I’ll be okay Misty. And I promise…I will let Winona know. Please know that I don’t hide it from her to spite her. I love her with all my heart and the last thing I ever want to do is see her hurt. But this is something I have to do and it’s unavoidable. (That night at Ash’s house)
Delia: (Sighs) Why do I bother making a family meal for three if no one else is going to eat but me? (Ash comes out) Oh! Ash honey! How about something to eat? You haven’t eaten anything since breakfast.
Ash: No thanks.
Delia: But I made your favorite.
Ash: I’m not hungry. You and Samuel enjoy.
Delia: That’s all fine and dandy but he hasn’t been back for hours. He said there was something he had to do and said he’d be right back. (The door opens) There you are!
Oak: Ash, I’d like to talk to you in private. (In the other room)
Ash: Reggie Silver?
Oak: Yes. I went through the yearbooks from the past of Pallet High. Sure enough, your suspicion is true. Reggie is indeed the older brother to Paul.
Ash: I knew it. The same look in his eyes…it’s the same as Paul's.
Oak: There’s more.
Ash: Huh?
Oak: I knew I heard the name Reggie Silver somewhere before. I had a bit of a walk down memory lane with this one. When he was in school, he was a bit of a troublemaker. Frequent run-ins with the law for all kinds of things! Drugs, robbery, alcohol, grand theft auto, and the list goes on and on. There’s nothing left to say about him. He’s just a troubled person and needs to be in prison. He’s never going to change.
Ash: He might have unleashed his anger on society after Paul’s death. But maybe if I talk to him…
Oak: No Ash! It’s one thing to be a cop, but another to be a psychiatrist. As an educator, I can tell from past experience of which kid is going to make it in this world and which one is beyond help and this guy is way beyond any kind of help. He’s a lost cause just like his brother. Plus all the chaos he’s created was way before his brother’s death. You just have to realize the truth about Reggie. (The next morning at Winona’s apartment)
Steven: Hey good morning Wallace. Where’s Mommy?
Wallace: Mommy’s still sleeping.
Steven: Okay, I won’t disturb her. (Knock on the door) Who could that be? (Opens the door) Sidney?
Sidney: What’s up man!
Steven: Come in. Wallace, this here is one of my old Army buddies, Sidney. This is Winona’s first child.
Sidney: Nice to meet you little man. And I take it the one you’re holding is yours, Steven?
Steven: You’ve got it.
Sidney: Pictures truly don’t do this little lady justice. She’s going to be a real beauty queen when she grows up.
Steven: There has to be some reason why you’re here.
Sidney: Oh shoot. I knew I’d forget! I brought by all of your things in this box. I figure you’ll be needing this.
Wallace: What are these?
Steven: My old uniform when I was in the Army…and a few other items. (Pulls out a magazine) Whoa! I didn’t realize this was in the box. Say Wallace…Me and Sidney want to catch up. Why don’t you go in Aunt Misty’s room and watch cartoons in there.
Wallace: Won’t she get mad?
Steven: Doubt it. Misty left about an hour ago for work.
Wallace: Okay! (He leaves)
Sidney: Cute kid. (Steven sighs) I know you’re down about the draft. I’m not too happy about it either. Just when I start to get my life back together with a hot babe and my band getting a little more hype, this crap happens.
Steven: Think how bad I feel! I’m finally becoming a family guy…Not in that sense!
Sidney: Good. For a second I thought you went Peter Griffin on me!
Steven: You get what I mean. Plus I haven’t even told Winona. (In Winona’s room)
Winona: (Yawns) Hmm…I didn’t realize it was that late. I better check to see where everyone is. (Walks out of the room) Huh?
Steven: It’s just that…I can’t bring myself to telling her. I know it’s wrong of me to hide this big news away from Winona. But I don’t want to hurt her.
Sidney: Tough break man.
Steven: I got off easy my first time around when I only sustained a few minor injuries. But what if I don’t get any more chances? What if these are my last precious moments holding my daughter?
Sidney: You shouldn’t say such things! You should always say to yourself that you’re going to be fine. You’ll be safe all throughout your duty in Afghanistan. (Winona gasps)
Winona: (Silently) No…It can’t be!
Steven: (Gasp) Winona! (He runs to her) Winona…are you…? (She tears up and runs to her room) Winona! WINONA! (A little later at the diner)
Misty: Hi guys.
Solana: Morning Misty.
Misty: So Solana, do you and Lunick finally have a thing going on?
Solana: Well…
Lunick: I wish.
Solana: Don’t you have something better to do instead of wishing for something you'll never have?
Lunick: Yes ma’am!
Misty: Where’s Ash?
Solana: Don’t know.
Lunick: He didn’t show up for work today. Something yesterday must have spooked him when we were dealing with that maniac on the roof.
Misty: I wonder what happened!
Lunick: Don’t know. He just took a sick day today. Joel told us that he’ll be back tomorrow. (A little later at Ash’s house)
Ash: Hmm… (Doorbell rings) Wonder who that could be! (Opens the door)
Misty: Are you okay?
Ash: Yeah, I’ll be fine. Come in.
Misty: Ash, I got concerned. What on earth happened? Why didn’t you show up to work today?
Ash: Oh that…I was doing some research.
Misty: What kind of research?
Ash: On that guy we stopped yesterday. Reggie Silver…I knew his face reminded me of someone. My suspicion came true as I learned that his brother is…or was Paul.
Misty: Paul? (Gasp) You mean…your freshman back in high school?
Ash: Yeah. It’s just that all of those unpleasant memories resurfaced. I couldn’t help but delve into this issue.
Misty: Ash…Try not to think about it. It’s best to not get into something you know has no peaceful resolution. And if it is Paul’s brother, something tells me that he’s going to have some sort of bitterness towards you.
Ash: But I tried to help Paul! I tried to stop him from killing himself.
Misty: But his brother may not see it that way. He may see you as the boy who pushed his brother over the edge. Please Ash…It’s not worth beating yourself up over.
Ash: Elita!
Misty: Say what?
Ash: Elita has a complete record of anyone who’s been sent to the clink. And Samuel said that Reggie had big record! I’m going to stop by work Misty.
Misty: But Ash! (He runs out the door) Oh man! Is every man hard-headed today or is this just a coincidence?
Delia: Hi Misty, when did you get here? (Misty groans) Where’s Ash? (A little later at the police station)
Elita: Reggie Silver? The name does sound familiar.
Ash: Please Elita…
Solana: Elita, you’re needed in the other room.
Elita: I’ll be right back Ash.
Ash: Okay, his file must be in here somewhere. (Opens a drawer) Silver…Silver…
Joel: What are you doing? (Ash jumps) Did Elita ask you to go through the drawer?
Ash: No.
Joel: Then why are you snooping around?
Ash: Why does it matter? You make me help Elita in here all the time. How is this any different from what I do normally?
Joel: Because you’re here on your sick day snooping around through drawers that we’ve never assigned you to work on.
Ash: Alright then Joel, if you know everything why don’t you let me in on Reggie Silver?
Joel: Reggie…You mean that Jamaican who flashes people at the corner market.
Ash: NO YOU IDIOT! The suicidal one from yesterday!
Joel: Oh, that Reggie! That boy has some real problems and a record that’ll scare bigger cities. (The door opens) Spenser…
Spenser: I just came from the hospital with Reggie Silver. He’s awake and apparently is asking the doctors to put an end to his life. When I talked to him all he said was, “I want to die.” He’s basically given up all hopes of staying alive. (Ash sighs) I can’t help but feel sorry for him. After all, he has no family left and thinks there’s no hope for him.
Ash: I can get through to him.
Spenser: No Ash. He is not letting anyone come through to see him. He’s tired of talking to cops and I for one want to respect his wish.
Ash: But I can…
Joel: No Ash. Now go on home. That’s an order.
Ash: (Growls) Yes sir. (That night at Winona’s apartment)
Lanette: It’ll be okay Winnie. (Leaves the bedroom)
Bebe: Has she started using real words?
Lanette: No. She just sobbed into her pillow, “more ice cream.”
Bebe: I’ll get her another bowl. (The door opens)
Misty: I’m home.
Bebe: Good evening Misty.
Misty: What are you two doing here?
Lanette: Comforting Winnie. She just found out that Steven got drafted and is getting sent back into combat. Now all she’s doing is crying into a pillow and eating ice cream.
Misty: Where’s Steven now?
Lanette: Steven said he was going for a walk. But that was over five hours ago, so I’m assuming he’s getting hammered at the bar.
Bebe: I’ll be right back you guys! (She goes in the hallway) Huh…Wallace? (In Winona’s room)
Wallace: Hi…Mommy?
Winona: Huh? (Wipes away tears) Oh, hi little guy.
Wallace: Why are you crying Mommy?
Winona: (Sighs) I just heard some very upsetting news honey.
Wallace: Is that why Aunt Lanette and Bebe are here?
Winona: Sort of. Have you seen Steven? (He shakes his head no) Figures! Did your aunties tell you anything why I’m upset?
Wallace: No. (He hugs her) It’ll be okay Mommy. Please don’t cry!
Winona: Oh honey! (She continues crying) I love you so much. (Bebe closes the door and walks back into the kitchen)
Bebe: Now that’s very sweet. Wallace is in the room with Winona.
Lanette: Yeah…Where are you going?
Misty: Out. I’ll be back later. (She leaves)
Lanette: I wonder what that’s all about. (A little later at a hospital)
Reggie: Hmm? (Door opens)
Ash: Cadet Ash Ketchum! I’m here to check on you.
Reggie: …You! What do you want?
Ash: I came to talk to you.
Reggie: I thought I would never see you again.
Ash: Do you want to…?
Reggie: Look, I know who you are! You’re the idiot that killed my brother.
Ash: (Gasps) No Reggie, you’ve got it wrong. I tried to help him!
Reggie: Save your lies! I saw the footage on television. Do you know how heartbreaking it was for me to see my own brother die on television, while I’m stuck in prison?
Ash: I can’t really imagine.
Reggie: I bet you can’t, privileged boy!
Ash: I’m not going to stand here defending my case. I know what I did, so you can take or leave it.
Reggie: Look, I don’t trust you. You’re just the boy who ruined my life altogether.
Ash: How so? How did I ruin your entire life? Is it because I tried to help out Paul? Is it because I tried to help your own life? (Reggie glares at him)
Reggie: You don’t know my pain. You don’t know my struggle. All of you cops are just the fucking same! (Shouting) LEAVE ME ALONE! (Panting) …Leave the room…NOW!
Ash: …I’m sorry. I’m sorry you feel this resentment towards me. I’m sorry for everything that has happened to you. (He walks out of the room)
Reggie: Ash Ketchum…that name will haunt me until the very day I die. (Clinches his fist) There’s one more…One more thing I must do…I swear it. (In a bar)
Misty: Steven! Steven! (He groans) Come on! You have to go home and face the music sometime.
Steven: Leave me alone.
Misty: Don’t cop an attitude with me! I’ve tried to get you to tell her, but you had to be too hard-headed! Now that she knows you should do what’s right and comfort her. Winona is very vulnerable at this point. She lost her first love to a bullet through the chest and now she’s afraid she’s going to lose you to some freak accident. I can’t reassure her, so it has to be you.
Steven: I hear you Misty.
Misty: So you’ll come home with me?
Steven: Yes. (Groans) Just let me go to the bathroom to barf. (A little later in Wallace and Stephanie’s room)
Winona: Goodnight kids. Mommy loves you both!
Wallace: Can you sing me that bedtime song again Mommy?
Winona: Oh, I’ve already sang it twenty minutes ago. But I just can’t say no to that face. Okay sweetie! (Singing) Late at night while all the world is sleeping, I stay up and think of you. (Steven cracks the door) And I wish on a star, that somewhere you are thinking of me too. Because I’m dreaming of you tonight! Until tomorrow, I’ll be holding you tight. And there’s no where in the world I’d rather be, than in my room dreaming about you and me. (Steven tears up and leaves the area)
Misty: Huh? Steven, are you okay?
Steven: (Crying) It’s just that…I’m going to miss them so much. (Winona walks out)
Winona: Steven…
Misty: I’ll leave you two alone. (She leaves)
Winona: I take it you heard me singing to Wallace.
Steven: (Wipes away his tears) No, no. I just stubbed my toe on one of his toys.
Winona: You don’t have to put up the tough front with me.
Steven: Are you mad?
Winona: No…not mad. Not at you anyways!
Steven: You know it wasn’t my intention to do so. It’s just that they asked our brigade to return to combat. So, here I am.
Winona: When…do you leave?
Steven: This weekend. (She tears up) Oh Winnie…I know this isn’t a good thing. But keep in mind, I have to do this. I promise you I will be okay. (She feels his face)
Winona: Oh Steven! (She cries in his arms) Don’t leave. Please don’t leave.
Steven: I’m right here. (The next afternoon at the police station)
Elita: Hand me that one over there Ash.
Ash: Huh? Yeah, sure. (Hands her a file and piece of paper falls to the ground)
Elita: (Yawns) Time for a pee break. I’ll be right back. (She leaves the room)
Ash: I wonder what this is. Huh? (The door opens)
Joel: Hey Ash.
Ash: What is it?
Joel: I just came to check on you. Feeling any better?
Ash: Oh…I’m fine.
Joel: Elita got you doing more paperwork? (Ash nods) Oh I see…More on the Reggie Silver case. I can’t help but feel sorry for him. His mother died from a drug overdose and his younger brother committed suicide four years ago. (The door opens)
Aria: Sir…I need your assistance here. (He leaves the room)
Ash: It can’t be true. It can’t be…His birth certificate…His father…Giovanni Ketchum? Dad? What the hell is going on? (Back in the other room)
Joel: What do you mean he escaped? Damn it!
Lunick: What’s wrong sir?
Joel: Reggie Silver escaped the hospital. (He gasps) He apparently escaped through the window in his room late last night. There’s no trace of him anywhere and no one in the area knows where he is or saw anything. Okay, time to go on patrol. (Back in the file room)
Ash: I…I can’t…believe… (The door opens)
Lunick: Come on Ash. We’re doing patrols around the city and…Hey, are you okay?
Ash: Yeah…I’ll be fine. I just…choked on my own spit.
Lunick: Oh, don’t worry. I’ve had that happen hundreds of times. (Pats him on the back) Let’s go!
Ash: (Thinking) There’s no way that my dad could be the father of Reggie and Paul. It’s just not possible. There’s probably more than one Giovanni Ketchum in this city! Or maybe…it’s true…Dad. You died so long ago…and yet… (Later that weekend at the army base)
Steven: I’ll write to you guys every day. You girls be sure to take care of Winona.
Misty: We’ll keep an eye on her.
Lanette: And I’ll make sure she’s okay.
Wallace: It’ll be just like the Three Stooges! (All groan)
Lanette: Whatever, I’m still Moe!
Winona: I’ll see you at Christmas?
Steven: Here’s hoping. (Winona sighs) Don’t look so down Winnie. I promise, I’ll come home in one piece. (Kneels down) Wallace, I’m going to need you to do something important for me. Watch after your mom! Now that I’ll be gone, she’s going to need a man of the house and that’s you little guy!
Wallace: Me?
Steven: Don’t act so surprised. Winona…
Winona: Oh Steven! (They kiss on the lips)
Steven: I’m going to miss you so much.
Winona: I’ll miss you too.
Sidney: Come on man.
Steven: Goodbye Stephanie. (He kisses her on the forehead) Goodbye everyone. (They all wave goodbye)
Winona: Goodbye Steven… (Tears up) Goodbye!
I always needed time on my own
I never thought I'd need you there when I cry
And the days feel like years when I'm alone
And the bed where you lie is made up on your side
When you walk away I count the steps that you take
Do you see how much I need you right now
When you're gone
The pieces of my heart are missing you
When you're gone
The face I came to know is missing too
When you're gone
The words I need to hear to always get me through the day and make it ok
I miss you
