These are the folks you will learn to love or hate when you read them. Along with the seiyuus/voice actors that (I think should) play each character.
Ash Ketchum: One of the main folks of this tale. Just like in the actual anime, he's dimwitted and completely oblivious when it comes to things like love. What does he do in high school? Well he's the school mascot and loves to play a good game of Basketball with his best friend Brock.
Japanese: Rika Matsumoto
English: Veronica Taylor
Misty Waterflower: Misty is a romantic. Yeah, she knows what she wants and looks to be one of those folks who believes in the phrase, "love at first sight". What does she do in high school? Misty is a cheerleader. Not much else to that is there?
Japanese: Mayumi Iizuka
English: Rachel Lillis
Brock Harrison: Brock is the class pervert. He loves the ladies, but they don't really like him back. In other words, he's a hopeless case. And a dog. What does he do in high school? Brock isn't much for the extra-curricular activities except one-on-one basketball with Ash. Other than that, he's mostly around the kitchen because of the 9 other siblings he has at home.
Japanese: Yuji Neda
English: Eric Stuart
Marisa: The school nark. Not really. She's the principal's eyes and ears (even when she's a freshman). But once you get to know her, she's not so bad. Though she'll turn you in if you do something stupid. What does she do in high school? She's the art student and theater girl.
Japanese: Michiko Neya
English: Carol Jacobanis
Marcus: Marisa's wonderful sidekick. Primarily the older brother Marisa never had. But other than that, a wise-cracking, conspiracy theorist, and wacky friend. What does he do in high school? A theater student and somewhat of a photographer.
Japanese: Hiroshi Kamiya
English: Sam Riegal
Sakura: The bookworm and book-smarts of the group. Very caring to all, but can be too naive for her own good. What does she do in high school? She's pretty much in every honors or A.P. class you can think of. Yeah, she's that freakin' smart.
Japanese: Mariko Kouda
English: Kerry Williams
Winona: She is the school's sweetheart. She can be both loved and hated by people all around the school. The model student to all. What does she do in high school? Primarily serves as a student council member and high positions when it comes to representing her graduating class.
Japanese: Hyosei
English: Amy Brinbaum
Principal Samuel Oak: Pallet High School's principal.
Japanese: Unshou Ishizuka
English: Stan Hart
Tracey Sketchit: A second year transfer. From all who know him, he's a nice boy and sometimes a little quiet. Mostly you'll find him with a sketchbook in hand. What does he do in high school? An art student and that's that.
Japanese: Tomokazu Seki
English: Ed Paul
Drew Rose: The school player. All the ladies want a piece of him. But this boy has so many dates he doesn't know what to do sometimes. What does he do in high school? When he's not chasing tail, he's a theater student and is pretty much the star singer in any and all productions.
Japanese: Mitsuki Saiga
English: Pete Zarustica
Harley: You look up flamboyant in the dictionary, there's a picture of this young man right there. Harley can be a sneaky person when getting what he wants, but he's got a nice side to him. What does he do in high school? Theater. Duh!
Japanese: Junichi Kanemaru
English: Andrew Rannells
May Sapphire: A third year transfer. She is the daughter of a very famous movie star and is finally coming to a public school. What does she do in high school? She's a theater girl and kind of following into her father's footsteps to become a star.
Japanese: KAORI
English: Veronica Taylor
Laura: She's the little cousin to Marisa. She can be quiet at times and sometimes have an annoyed temper like her older cousin, but overall a nice girl. What does she do in high school? Later on she becomes an assistant at the front office for Principal Oak.
Japanese: Eri Kitamura
English: Kari Wahlgren
Dawn Berlitz: Flighty and obsessed when it comes to her hair, that's Dawn. What does she do in high school? Theater like so many of her senior friends.
Japanese: Megumi Toyoguchi
English: Emily Bauer
