Narrator: Previously on Romance 102…Um…some stuff happened. Laura leaves to go back to her family, Solana kisses Ash, Misty sees the whole thing and now she’s running away to California which we somehow "borrowed" from That 70’s Show. And now onto this week’s chapter! Sorry for the rush, but it’s summer time. I’ve got a date with a hot chick with big phony jugs…The kind I like!
Dear Winona,
I am leaving. I don’t know when I'll be back. I just need a break from everything and everybody. If a certain Ash Ketchum comes looking for me, don’t tell him ANYTHING. I don’t want that bastard to find me and I don’t want him to know where I am. More information will come in time. I know it’s asking a lot, but could you cover for me with my family, friends, and work? I’m sorry to do this to you. See you soon.
-Misty Waterflower
Winona: What the fuck? (Growling) Misty, I am going to… (Pounding on the door) Okay, this is freaking me out! (Grabs a baseball bat) Who the fuck is it?!
Wallace: Mommy?
Winona: Wallace, get back to your room, now!
Ash: Winona, it’s Ash! I need to speak to you! (She opens the door and pulls him in) Whoa! That baby bump of yours is growing!
Winona: Shut up! What’s the idea of waking up this place at five in the morning? (Steven walks out)
Steven: You’re the one who woke us up. (She glares at him) Eh…I don’t know what I’m doing out of bed. I’m half asleep! I say stupid things when I’m up at this hour.
Wallace: What’s wrong with Mommy?
Steven: Mommy’s having a mood-swing now. Come on, let’s watch some TV in my room. (They leave)
Ash: Winona, I need to speak to Misty!
Winona: She’s not here.
Ash: What do you mean she’s not here?
Winona: It means she left last night and didn’t come back.
Ash: Ah, I need to file a missing person’s report and…
Winona: Don’t bother. She left me this note saying that she’s taking a break from everything and everybody.
Ash: Everything and everybody?
Winona: That’s right. And she also seemed pretty upset with you!
Ash: Oh…she’s still mad about last night. I’m not sure about what she told you, but Solana doesn’t mean anything to me. She just…kissed me and Misty saw the whole thing. She's just a co-worker to me and that’s that.
Winona: I’m not sure about who this Solana girl is. All I know is that kissing a girl who isn’t your girlfriend or your mother is just begging to get your ass kicked. (In Violet’s car)
Misty: (Yawns) How much longer until we get to California?
Violet: Close. We’re now entering Nevada! You seem hell bent on getting to California more than me. Plus, you weren’t very clear with what happened between you and Ash.
Misty: He… (Flashback to Solana and Ash kissing) He…
Ash’s voice: MISTY!!!
Violet: Okay, so it was between you and Ash.
Misty: …And he was kissing another girl. (Starts crying) They were in each others arms and kissing on the lips!
Violet: Oh. So I guess it’s over between you two?
Misty: (Sighs) Why did I sleep with him? I knew this was going to happen as soon as we…
Violet: You slept with Ash? Actual sex! (She nods) Well, at least you’re not the last one in the family to have actual sex.
Misty: You mean you…
Violet: Hell no. I lost my virginity a LONG time ago. I’m talking about Lily. Time to take a little rest! (Pulls into a motel) We’ll continue after we get some sleep. (A little later at the airport)
Michelle: Be sure to call us as soon as you get back home to your parents.
Laura: I will.
Dawn: We’ll miss you so much! I promised myself that I wasn’t going to cry!
Zoey: Okay Dawn, that’s enough.
Laura: Guys, I’m going to miss you all.
Dawn: You better answer your emails and phone calls and…
Zoey: Dawn, give her some time to study at least.
Marisa: Hey, it was great having you here for the last couple of years. It almost felt like I actually had a younger sister. I’ll miss you, kiddo.
Laura: Thanks Marisa. Well, I’m off. (All saying goodbye)
Dawn: Oh. It’s always so hard to say goodbye.
Michelle: But you’ll always have the memories.
Laura: (Thinking) I’ll miss you all. Dawn, Zoey, Marley, Brianna, Marisa, Auntie, Riley, all of you! (Wipes away a tear) But I’ll come back. One day, I’ll return to see you guys. (At the police station)
Aria: Oh boys, make sure to make those cells shine. I’ll be back to check on you later. (She walks away)
Lunick: Damn it all! Now that we’re cops, we’re supposed to be where the action is. Not here cleaning out empty cells where old criminals threw up. Yuck! (Ash groans) What the hell is the matter with you? It’s not like you were stood up by Solana.
Ash: IT’S ALL YOUR FAULT! IT’S YOUR FAULT THAT MISTY’S GONE! You and that stupid letter! (Solana walks by and hides)
Lunick: What happened? I was waiting out front for Solana to give me her answer and she never showed up.
Ash: It’s because she came and found me. She thought the letter was from me and she ended up kissing and embracing me. Then Misty saw what happened. And now she’s no where to be found and won't even answer her phone. I knew I shouldn’t have helped your stupid ass!
Lunick: Ash, you have to trust me on this, I didn’t mean for any of this to happen.
Ash: Let me ask you something, Einstein! In that letter you wrote, did you even put your name on there?
Lunick: Huh? I guess I forgot! (Ash sighs) Ash, I’m sorry. Hey, maybe if I come with you and explained things to Misty about this whole situation, she’ll be back in your arms again.
Ash: That is, if she comes back.
Lunick: What do you mean?
Ash: Her roommate told me that she left her a note stating that she’s left on a last-minute vacation. But I know it’s to get away from me. (Tears up)
Lunick: Hey, don’t cry! Come on, big boys don’t cry!
Ash: I CAN’T HELP IT! I miss Misty! (Nearby)
Solana: So that’s what’s going on? He…loves another one! Hmm…Misty… (Gasp) The waitress at the diner! (That night at the diner)
Theresa: Here’s your order. Sorry it’s so late!
Man: Miss, I’ve been waiting for a glass of water for 15 minutes now.
Theresa: Sorry about that. Let me get you that!
Woman: Worst service ever! I’ll make sure my readers hear about this. (Walks away)
Abigail: Oh nuts! This is terrible!
Theresa: Our customers are leaving in droves because we’re understaffed.
Abigail: I know, but Misty had a nervous breakdown of some sort and…where is Winona anyways? (In the bathroom)
Winona: Ugh! Why did I eat that… (Throws up) Ugh… (Back out front)
Theresa: Damn it all to hell! Winona is having “evening” sickness and Misty is AWOL. I am about to lose my mind! Where the hell are you Misty? (The next morning in Violet’s car)
We've been on the run
Driving in the sun
Looking out for number 1
California here we come
Right back where we started from
Hustlers grab your guns
Your shadow weighs a ton
Driving down the 101
California here we come
Right back where we started from
California!
Here we come!
Violet: Ugh. Get this crap off the radio! (Turns the dial) Oh, there we go.
Radio DJ: And that was the New Kids on the Block, with their song Summertime! Hey speaking of which, we’re getting a nice taste of the summer weather. Looks like it’ll reach to the triple digits by noon.
Misty: I hope San Francisco isn’t going to have this kind of weather.
Violet: Nah, it’ll be surprisingly cool. Okay, it’s 8am now. As long as we keep on the right track, we should make San Francisco before nightfall. I can’t wait to be with my Dorian again!
Misty: (Sarcastic) I’m happy for you! (Sighs) I’ll just be happy once we’re there. (Thinking) Oh Ash. (Scoffs) Screw him. (Later at the apartment)
Ash: Misty, where are you?
Steven: I must say you are in some hot water!
Ash: You can say that again.
Steven: I wish I knew where Misty was. I was here the whole day and she didn’t stop by at all. Maybe Winnie saw her when she was at work.
Ash: But the note said she was taking a break. Something tells me she’s not even in town. (The door opens)
Winona: (Sighs) What a day!
Steven: How are you feeling?
Winona: HOW DO YOU THINK I’M FEELING!
Steven: Um, hey look who’s here Winnie! It’s Ash! (She glares at him)
Winona: And you! I just went through the worst day of my life at work because of your girlfriend. Whatever you did, you better fix it because I don’t know how much more I can handle!
Steven: Winnie, why don’t you take a nice bath to cool down?
Winona: Why don’t you go jump off a cliff? You did this to me! (Points to her stomach)
Steven: I’ll shut up now!
Winona: And what the hell are you waiting for? Call her now!
Ash: Give me a break, okay! You can’t rush this sort of thing. Plus, I’ve tried calling, but her phone is turned off.
Winona: (Sighs) I wonder where she is! (That night in front of an apartment in San Francisco)
Misty: Wow, this place is so beautiful. The beach looks so pretty at night. (The door opens)
Dorian: Violet!
Violet: Dorian! (They make out)
Misty: So you’re Dorian. My sister has told me so much about you. My name is…Oh forget it! So do you want me to put my things in this…room? (They go into a bedroom) Okay, I’ll just sleep in this empty room. (Let’s Get It On by Marvin Gaye plays) Ugh. Well, it beats being home. Oh. I should call Winona. (Over the phone) Hi Winona!
Winona: (Shouting) Where the hell are you?
Misty: California.
Winona: What the hell are you doing there? Ash has been asking for you for the last two days.
Misty: Tell him he can go to hell!
Winona: (Sighs) Look, he’s very worried about you. Would you at least talk to him?
Misty: No. And don’t tell him I’m here either. (She hangs up)
Winona: Ugh. This is nuts! (A little later at Ash’s house)
Ash: Hi May? This is Ash. I was wondering if you’ve seen or heard from Misty.
May: No! I haven’t seen or talked to her for a while now. (Hangs up and dials)
Brock: Nope. Haven’t seen her since the last day of school! (Hangs up and dials)
Grace: I haven’t talked to either. Sorry Ash.
Marisa: Ash, you called me at a pretty bad time!
Ash: Have you seen or talked to Misty?
Marisa: No.
Voice: Attention passengers, flight 2291 to...
Marisa: Damn it, I gotta go! Goodbye. (Hangs up)
Ash: She knows something. I know she does! Oh man…It’s a lost cause! (The next morning in California)
Misty: (Yawns) Well now that I’m here, I should be doing something fun and not spend all my time stuck in an apartment. (Opens the door) Guys, if you want to join…Eh, forget that! (Outside the apartment) I don’t know what’s worse, those two naked in the bed or the times I saw Daisy and Josh in bed! Boy, the bay is so beautiful. (A little later near the water) This is great! Dorian's really lucky. He lives in a great location. Violet doesn’t know what she’s missing. (Thinking) Okay, so where do I go from here? If Ash is going to screw with his co-worker, then what’s my next move?
Brawly: Misty Waterflower?
Misty: Huh? (Gasp) Brawly!
Brawly: It’s a small world after all! I thought that was you. It’s been a while!
Misty: It sure has. I didn’t know you were living here.
Brawly: Oh yeah. I’ve been going to Olivine University for the last couple of years. How about you?
Misty: I’ve been going to Pallet University.
Brawly: Oh, back home. Why don’t we take a walk and catch up? (A little later)
Misty: Wow, looks like you’ve been keeping yourself busy.
Brawly: Oh yeah. This place is great. I’m doing something new every day. But enough about me! What’s been going on with you? You know I graduated a year before you, but last I remembered, you were going out with that boy from your class. Um…Ash? How’s he doing? (Misty tears up) Oh no, I’m sorry if I upset you Misty! I didn’t mean to make you upset.
Misty: No, it’s not your fault. It’s just that up until a couple of days ago, we were happily together. But then…he…he… (She starts crying)
Brawly: Oh Misty, don’t cry! I hate to see a pretty girl like you crying. It’s okay, you don’t have to say it if it makes you that upset.
Misty: I can’t help it. It really hurt me…
Brawly: Just take some time and think things through.
Misty: (Sighs) I just have to clear my head and relax. I’ve got to get my priorities straight. I’m sorry for getting all weepy.
Brawly: Oh, don’t be sorry. It’s okay.
Shauna: (Shouting) Brawly! Where are you?
Brawly: Hey Shauna!
Shauna: You were supposed to meet me outside the snow cone shop over an hour ago.
Brawly: Sorry about that. I was catching up with an old friend. Misty, this is Shauna. We go to school together. Shauna, this is Misty. She and I knew each other from high school.
Misty: Nice to meet you.
Shauna: Likewise.
Brawly: You can join us Misty.
Misty: Nah. I don’t want to be a third wheel or anything!
Brawly: Nonsense! I would love it if you would join us. I can show you all around the town. You’ll have a blast, I swear!
Misty: Okay. I came here to have some fun and that’s what I’m going to do. (A little later at the police station)
Ash: Solana…
Solana: Ash, let me speak to you. I’m sorry for what happened the other day. I honestly didn’t know that the red-haired waitress was your girlfriend and I apologize if I caused any kind of problem. (Tears up)
Ash: Hey, please don’t cry. It was an honest mistake. See, I’m not so open when it comes to talking about my relationship and I guess that can confuse people.
Solana: Oh Ash…you’re so sweet to be so forgiving. Your girlfriend must be one lucky girl to have a guy like you.
Ash: Well…because of this whole situation, Misty hasn’t talked to me since that night.
Solana: Oh man, it really is all my fault!
Ash: No, no, no! Don’t blame yourself, Solana! It’s that idiot, Lunick’s fault! He’s the one who wrote that note and he made me deliver it to you because he was too much of a chicken-shit to tell you face-to-face.
Solana: And where is Lunick now? (In the filing area)
Lunick: Haven’t you people ever heard of a paper shredder?
Elita: Now you know that wouldn’t be a good idea.
Lunick: Yeah…Man. There are more files here than there are crabs on Pam Anderson.
Elita: Okay, I’ll be right back. (She leaves)
Lunick: (Sighs) Nighttime will approach soon. (The door opens)
Solana: Lunick.
Lunick: Ah! Solana…What’s up?
Solana: Ash told me the whole story. That it was you who wrote the note for me and…
Lunick: You caught me.
Solana: So...you really like me?
Lunick: Are you kidding me? I love you. You just have this beautiful face that lights up a room whenever you enter.
Solana: A little over the top, but I’m flattered.
Lunick: So…
Solana: (Sighs) Look Lunick…You’re a really nice guy and everything. But I like someone who is more assertive. Someone who can take charge and knows what he wants!
Lunick: I can be that! In fact, I am!
Solana: Not by the actions I’ve seen from you the last few days. If you were someone who could take charge and be more assertive, you would have come to me and told me how you really felt. Not pussy-footing around it or making your friend do your own actions! In fact, that’s pathetic! (Lunick’s jaw drops)
Lunick: (Thinking) My heart! It’s breaking! (The door opens)
Elita: I’m back, Lunick. Solana, what’s going on in here?
Solana: Nothing ma’am! I was just returning an item that Lunick lost earlier. (She leaves)
Elita: Okay, back to work. Huh? Hey, is something the matter?
Lunick: (Groans) This sucks! Now Solana hates me! (Back in California)
Misty: Wow! I can’t believe how big this mall is!
Brawly: Oh yeah. This is a great mall filled with so many shops!
Misty: (Gasp) You guys have Forever 21? We don’t even have that!
Shauna: I can take you around.
Misty: That would be great.
Brawly: Okay. You ladies enjoy your high-priced clothing store. I’ll be upstairs looking at all of the new surfing boards they’ve got. (A little later in the store)
Misty: What do you think of this sundress?
Shauna: Ooh, very nice. Yellow is definitely your color! So Misty, what brings you all the way out here to California?
Misty: Just a vacation. I was tired of things back home and decided to come here with my big sister.
Shauna: I understand. We all need that time to get away from it all every once and a while.
Misty: So Shauna, I don’t mean to pry, but are you Brawly’s girlfriend?
Shauna: Not really.
Misty: What do you mean “not really?”
Shauna: Well…I do have feelings for him. It’s just that, I don’t know how he really feels about me.
Misty: Just come right out and say how you really feel. Trust me on this Shauna. I’ve been through this sort of thing before and this is always the toughest part. Telling someone you like them is the hardest part, but it’s a lot easier once it’s done and out of the way.
Shauna: Thanks Misty. You must have some experience dealing with boys.
Misty: A little. (That night back at the police station)
Solana: See you guys later. (Whistling) Huh?
Lunick: Over here!
Solana: Lunick, what do you want?
Lunick: I need your help. I need to set things right again with Ash. And I need your help to do it.
Solana: What do you want me to do?
Lunick: I got a list of the people Ash called to get information on Misty. Now these three are the only ones he’s suspicious over.
Solana: Her older sister, her roommate, and her best friend.
Lunick: We talk to them and they give us any information on Misty’s whereabouts. Now this can work because we’re in uniform and they’ll take us more seriously.
Solana: Why do you want to do this?
Lunick: Because Ash is my friend and he’s hurting. Granted, it’s my fault that those two lovebirds are on the train to splits-ville! But I’m going to do anything in my power to get those two back together. And the first thing we need to do is track down Misty. (At Daisy’s house)
Daisy: Officers, I honestly don’t know where Misty is. I saw her about a week ago when she returned home, but that was it.
Solana: Where are your other sisters?
Daisy: Lily is on a date and Violet is in California.
Lunick: Did you say California?
Daisy: Yes.
Lunick: Did you get any word if Misty would be with Violet?
Daisy: Not that I know of. Violet didn’t tell me anything.
Solana: Could you give us her phone number so that we may ask her some questions?
Daisy: I’d be happy to…but I can’t. I don’t have the number to the place she’s staying and she left her cell phone here. (Outside the house)
Lunick: So much for that lead. Let’s try…Misty’s best friend. Her name is Marisa. Ash gave me her address, so we’ll pay her a little visit. (At Marisa’s house)
Solana: Doesn’t look like anyone is home?
Lunick: No lights on. I guess she’s out.
Solana: What’s next on the list?
Lunick: Well, there’s Misty’s roommate, Winona. (A little later at the apartments)
Steven: Okay, Wallace is asleep…finally! That kid just won’t take no for an answer. He must have gotten it from you.
Lanette: Now’s not really the time for jokes, Steven.
Winona: When I get a hold of Misty, I’m going to…
Lanette: Hold up, Winnie! Misty just had a nervous breakdown from what you’re telling me and she just needs a break from it all. I mean, you know what it’s like to have nervous breakdowns. You’ve had your fair-share of them in your younger days.
Winona: You do have a point there. (Knock on the door) Who could that be? (She opens the door)
Lanette: Strippers or are they real cops?
Lunick: Real cops!
Solana: We’re here to question a Winona…damn...I can’t read this last name!
Winona: I’m Winona. What’s this all about?
Lunick: Ma’am, we’ll ask the questions around here.
Winona: Wait, I know you two! You guys are the ones who come to the diner with Ash all the time.
Solana: We would like to ask you a few questions concerning Misty Waterflower.
Winona: Oh my God, is she okay? Oh man, I knew I should have been more supportive!
Solana: Relax! We just want to see if you knew anything about her whereabouts. She went missing a couple of days ago and we’re wondering if you have any information.
Winona: Oh. Well, she called me about a day or so ago and told me that she’s in California. Where in the state, I don’t know!
Solana: Anything else?
Winona: No. But all I know is that she isn’t missing. She’s just on a vacation, if you can call it that!
Solana: Thanks for your time. Come on Lunick.
Lunick: Just a second! Winona, when Misty called you, did she call you on your cell phone or a regular phone.
Winona: Cell phone. Oh! I do have the number she called me on stored away in my cell phone. You can try calling her on this number, but good luck. I wasn’t able to reach her after that one time she called.
Lunick: Thanks again. (At Ash’s house)
Ash: What are you guys doing here?
Solana: We wanted to give you this.
Lunick: That’s the phone number Winona gave us. Misty called her the other night on this phone number. Though I think you should know that it’s a number from California.
Ash: She’s there? I have to call her! I have to call her! (Dials the phone)
Violet: Oh, I missed you baby! (Phone rings) Oh, he’s still knocked out cold! I’ll get it. Hello.
Ash: Yes hello. Is Misty there?
Violet: Ash Ketchum? Misty doesn’t want to speak to you or even see you again! And I can’t blame her. She’s better off without you! (Hangs up)
Lunick: What happened?
Solana: Ash?
Ash: She…she…she…doesn’t want to see me…again! (Tears up) MISTY! (Back in California)
Violet: That is one persistent kid! (Door opens) Misty’s back!
Misty: Thanks for a great day you guys. I’ll see you guys tomorrow.
Brawly: Great. Tomorrow, I can show you China Town! (She shuts the door)
Violet: And just where have you been, young lady?
Misty: Exploring the town!
Violet: With some stranger?
Misty: First of all, you’re not my mother, so stop acting like Mom. Second, he’s not a stranger. He’s Brawly and we went to high school with him. Look, I wasn’t going to spend the day cooped up in this stuffy apartment while you and Dorian do…God knows what, all day!
Violet: We did a lot more than just have sex! (Misty glares at her) Fine, you got me! Oh, I shouldn’t tell you this…but Ash called.
Misty: Ash? (Thinking) Damn it Winona! You had to go and blab! (Sighs) I might as well call. (Picks up the phone)
Violet: I’d think twice about calling. Remember what he did to you! Do you want to spend the rest of your days kicking yourself because you picked the one who cheats on you? (Misty groans) Trust me Misty, boys like him are no good. (She puts down the phone) Very good choice! (The next morning in front of the apartments)
Misty: I’ll see you guys later!
Violet: Oh yeah. Here you go.
Misty: You’re giving me money?
Violet: When you’re done hanging around with your little friends, I want you to go to the store and pick up a box of condoms. We ran out!
Misty: (Sarcastic) Gee, how will you survive without sex for nine hours?
Violet: Very funny. Just don’t be too long! (Horn honks)
Misty: That’s Brawly! (Opens the door)
Violet: Whoa! The boy has a top-down red convertible!
Misty: You have Dorian…and he has a punch bug! See you later. (They drive away)
Violet: (Sighs) Great, what the hell am I going to do without sex? That was the whole point of this trip! (Later around China Town)
Misty: Ooh! I love these little knickknacks! Oh, this little kitty is just the cutest!
Brawly: It’s holding up the right paw which means the sign of friendship.
Misty: I’m always up for more friends! Huh? (Looks around) It couldn’t be! (Gasp) No way!
Brawly: Misty?
Shauna: Are you okay?
Misty: Oh yeah, just fine. (Thinking) Unbelievable! Marisa is here of all places! Ash must have sent her here! Of all the places in the city for her to be in... (Aloud) Hey guys, why don’t we go somewhere else?
Brawly: Sure Misty, this place is getting pretty crowded. Just tell us where you’d like to go.
Misty: Oh um…well…
Shauna: We can go to the beach and do some swimming!
Misty: Yes, let’s go to the beach! (Thinking) Okay, as long as we don’t make eye contact, then maybe she won’t notice me. (Nearby)
Marisa: God, it’s so wonderful being here! I love all of these little figurines!
Michelle: Be sure and pick one out for Marcus.
Marisa: Yeah, the little cry-baby wants a gift! Ooh, look at this! (Misty runs to the car) Huh?
Michelle: What’s the matter?
Marisa: I could have sworn I saw someone I knew. Eh, that couldn’t be! Okay, back to shopping! (In the car)
Misty: That was a close one! (Back at Dorian’s apartment)
Violet: Where have you been?
Misty: Keep your top on! (Throws a box to her) There!
Violet: This will only last us for three days.
Misty: What the? Is sex all you guys think about?
Dorian: Hey, don’t make judgments! We’ve been away from each other over a whole year and this is how we catch up with each other.
Violet: Well put! (They go in the other room)
Misty: Dirty dogs! (Phone rings) Huh? (Thinking) Should I answer? Should I? (Continues ringing)
Brawly: (Shouting) Misty! Are you ready?
Misty: Um…Yeah. (She runs outside)
Brawly: Okay, next stop the beach! (That night on the beach)
Misty: I didn’t know there’d be a deejay and everything here!
Shauna: Sometimes the radio stations will do live broadcasts out here and play live music for all of the teenagers who aren’t old enough for the good parties.
Misty: I’m having a really fun time.
Deejay: Okay, y’all having fun? (Cheering and clapping) That’s what I thought! It is indeed the start of summer up in here! So let’s throw this jam on! (Summer Love by Justin Timberlake plays)
Girl: Hey Shauna!
Shauna: I’ll be back. I’m going to hang with my friends for a little while! (Back at the apartment)
Dorian: Oh Violet!
Violet: Oh Dori… (Phone rings) Damn it! That’s the fourth time tonight that the phone has rung!
Dorian: Oh here! (Turns up music)
Violet: Ah, much better! (Back on the beach)
Brawly: I was so glad to see you again, Misty.
Misty: It was great seeing you again, Brawly.
Brawly: You don’t understand. When I saw you again…all of my old memories of us back in high school just resurfaced. Remember when we were on the swim team and Coach Pryce came out with his zipper down? (Misty laughs)
Misty: Oh yeah and we actually saw everything and because it was so cold, it actually shrunk!
Brawly: (Laughing) Shrinkage! Just like on Seinfeld! (Both sigh) Those were the days! Listen Misty, I was wondering if you would consider staying here.
Misty: Well, you know I’m going to stay for another couple of days and…
Brawly: No…I meant stay here permanently…with me. (She blushes) You don’t have to answer just yet, just let it all sink in.
Misty: Brawly…I don’t know if I can do…
Brawly: Misty, please. I would love it if you would consider staying. I have a place of my own and of course you can stay with me.
Misty: This is happening so fast!
Brawly: I love you Misty. (She turns red)
Misty: Oh Brawly…I don’t know what to say. (He embraces her)
Brawly: Don’t say anything. Let’s just stay like this. (They lean in closer and kiss on the lips)
I can't wait to fall in love with you
You can't wait to fall in love with me
This just can't be summer love, you'll see
This just can't be summer love
Misty: Oh…Brawly.
Brawly: I hope you’ll at least think about it.
Misty: I…I have to go! (She runs away)
Shauna: I’ll see you later girls! Misty, where are you going?
Misty: Away! Please, leave me alone!
Shauna: Huh? (A little later back at the apartment)
Misty: Oh, what do I do? What do I do? Brawly just declared his love for me! Do I stay with him or go back home! What do I do? Give me a sign! (Looks at the phone) Huh? Messages! Knowing Violet and Dorian, they’ve been screwing each other’s brains out and not answering the phone.
Machine: Message one. (Beep)
Ash: Misty! Misty please pick up! You have to believe me that this was all a mistake and I was falsely accused. Please Misty. If you get this message, please call me back.
Machine: Message two. (Beep)
Solana: Hello Misty, this is Solana. I’m the one who kissed Ash. Now before you delete, please listen to me. I honestly didn’t know that you were Ash’s girlfriend. If I knew, I would have backed away from him. You have to believe me when I tell you that Ash loves you and really wants you to come back home.
Machine: Message three. (Beep)
Winona: Misty, pick the fuck up! I just got interrogated by two cops about you. I want some answers from you!
Machine: Message four. (Beep)
Ash: Misty… (Sobbing) Please come back home. I love you! Misty… (Beep)
Narrator: What will Misty choose? Will she go back home to Ash or stay in California with Brawly? It is truly a cliffhanger! And I hate to say this but…TUNE IN NEXT SEASON TO FIND OUT!
