~New Characters Introduced~
Lovrina, Temaku, Will, Miss Vivian, and Jimmy
Original Date of Post: 12/02/2007
Narrator: Spring time! Nothing like a good crush to lift up your spirits! Well that maybe the case for some. Others, it just means you might get that nice visitor named the Green-Eyed Monster. Usually during this time of the year, people fall in love. And we all know that with teenage love, there’s bound to be some jealousy issues. It is March 20th, the first day of spring! The flowers start to bloom, spring break is just around the corner, and teen love is in the air. (Marcus screaming and panting) Ah, and here goes our sucker of the day!
Marcus: Oh man, why did I over sleep? Stupid alarm clock! It's a conspiracy! I'm gonna be late! (Bumps into someone) Damn! I guess it isn’t my lucky day today. I’m sorry for bumping into you like that. Are you okay?
Lovrina: Oh don’t worry about it.
Marcus: (Thinking) Whoa! She’s hot! (Aloud) So you’re…okay? Nothing broken?
Lovrina: (Giggles) I’m fine. (Marcus helps her up) Ooh, you are such a gentleman! Helping a lady up from the ground!
Marcus: Well, I guess that should make up for bumping into you.
Lovrina: I really haven’t seen you around school. Are you new or a freshman?
Marcus: I’m actually a sophomore and in theatre and in photography…Oh God, I’m babbling again. My name is Marcus!
Lovrina: Charmed. My name is Lovrina. Mmm, I do have to admit, you’re much cuter than some of the other boys in this school. (Marcus blushes) It’s true! (The bell rings)
Marcus: Ah crap! I’m late for class! (Lovrina holds onto his arm) Um, would you mind letting me go?
Lovrina: What’s your hurry? (Marcus turns red) I know a place where we can go so we can be alone for the period.
Marcus: But, I think I should really…
Lovrina: It’s not like your class is going to miss you or if you are really going to miss anything. Besides, it’ll give us some time to get to know each other a little better. (She kisses him) So what do you say?
Marcus: I say if you’re going to do more of that, I’m in! Let’s go! (They go into an empty classroom) Hey, I know this place! This is the classroom Miss Agatha caught Professor Elm with that student. (Lovrina grabs him and they start to make out) Oh baby! (At lunch)
Winona: Tracey, come sit with us! (Tracey walks over)
Tracey: Thanks you guys!
Winona: Oh it’s no problem. I just couldn’t stand seeing you sitting all by yourself.
Lanette: Yeah, where’s your crew?
Tracey: Well, Ash and Brock are outside playing basketball, Sakura and Misty are out of town in a cheer competition, and Marisa is doing some last minute things in the theatre for their play.
Winona: Oh yeah, Les Mis will be up in a couple of days. I heard nothing but great things about the play.
Lanette: Ugh, too long! I’m not a fan of long plays. My attention span is at an all-time low ever since I turned a teenager.
Winona: Just promise me you won’t snore this time. I could barely hear the munchkins in the Wizard of Oz last year with you snoring next to me. (Marisa walks up)
Marisa: I was wondering why no one was at our table.
Wallace: Well Tracey was sitting at the table all by himself so we decided to invite him over to eat with us.
Marisa: I’m sorry Tracey. If I’d known that you were going to be by yourself, I would have had you come with me…So that you wouldn’t be by yourself.
Tracey: It’s okay. I knew you and Marcus were busy with the play and needed to work on a few things.
Marisa: Uh, Marcus wasn’t with me. I haven’t seen him all day.
Tracey: If he wasn’t with you then where was he?
Narrator: It was at that time that Marcus and Lovrina were back in the empty classroom making out once again.
Marcus: Do you mind? We're a little busy in here!
Narrator: Don't mind me! Back outside, Ash and Brock were playing basketball against Morrison and Richie.
Brock: Man, this is intense!
Richie: Tell me about it! You boys are pretty good.
Morrison: Pretty good? I’m the best! You see me sink those 3-pointers? I’m on fire! In the words of Ali, “I’M THE GREATEST!” Isn’t that right Ashy-boy?
Ash: I need something sharp to poke that big head of yours. Now give me the ball, it’s my turn to serve!
Morrison: Not a chance Ashy-boy, it’s my turn! (They fight over the ball)
Brock: Not again!
Richie: Come on you guys; let’s not have a silly fight over the ball. Let’s just keep it in the game. (Ash and Morrison go back and forth with grabbing the ball)
Brock: Alright, that’s enough! (The ball flies and hits another person)
Ash: Oh man, not again!
Brock: Now look what your stupidity has done!
Morrison: Well you shouldn’t have interfered! (Brock runs over to the person)
Brock: I’m so sorry about that. Ah! She’s unconscious!
Richie: Oh my God!
Ash: Is she okay?
Brock: Hey stand back and give her some air to breathe! (The girl opens her eyes) Oh good, she’s waking up! You gave me quite a scare, but I’m glad that you are okay. (She blushes) I’m sorry about hitting you with the ball.
Temaku: Not at all! (She grabs Brock’s hands) I’ve never met a man who is as sweet as you. (The boys gasp)
Ash: That must be one big bump on her head!
Temaku: My name is Temaku and I like you a lot!
Richie: Whoa! Aren’t you going too fast?
Brock: There’s no such thing as going too fast in the Brock dictionary of lady-loving. My name is Brock and I’m all yours! (Temaku giggles and hugs him)
Ash: Unbelievable! This is the first girl ever that wasn’t repulsed by Brock. Has the world truly gone mad? (After school in the theatre)
Will: Where is he?
Drew: We don’t have all day!
Marisa: Do I look like Marcus’s keeper?
Kelly: Well, yeah you kind of are!
Harley: Rather odd, I didn’t see him in my first period class. We just figured that you would know something.
Marisa: Well I haven’t seen him all day. But don’t worry! I know for a fact that he wouldn’t flake and leave us.
Solidad: He better not! Opening night is tomorrow and all of us are on edge.
Marisa: Take a chill pill please!
Robert: But Marisa, we can’t do the play without him.
Will: And if he wants to stay in the Thespian society, he better not flake on us!
Marisa: Okay fine, I’ll go find him. I should be back in a couple of minutes. Until then, try not to light any torches. (Walks outside) Marcus, where the hell are you?
Marcus: I’m right here! (Marisa jumps)
Marisa: IT’S ABOUT TIME! Marcus, it isn’t like you to be late for rehearsals or to miss any periods. Oh God, please tell me you are not coming down with something.
Marcus: I’m feeling fine and dandy! I’ve never felt so alive! Today, I became a man and it feels so good!
Marisa: YOU IDIOT! If you even think about quitting the play, I will break every bone in your freakin’ body! Everybody is already on edge and they are getting ready to start a big angry mob!
Marcus: Relax, I’m not quitting anything! Let’s go out there and break some legs! Just not my own please! (Lovrina walks up)
Lovrina: Marcus, you forgot your hat! (She kisses him)
Marcus: I want you to meet my girlfriend Lovrina. Honey-bear, this is my friend Maria!
Marisa: It’s Marisa!
Lovrina: Oh I know you! You’re that nark!
Marisa: (Sarcastic) Oh, I like her already! Now if you don’t mind, Marcus has to get off to rehearsals before he gets lynched. (They make out) Ugh.
Lovrina: I’ll see you later boy-toy! (Later at rehearsals)
Miss Vivian: Other than that Will, great work as always. Now then, Marcus...
Marcus: Yes ma'am?
Miss Vivian: I don't think I need to remind you that you were 30 minutes late to a very important rehearsal. We open tomorrow night and we need everyone here ON TIME. Got that?
Marcus: Right. (A little later backstage)
Will: Marcus, a word if you please! (He turns around)
Marcus: What’s up everybody?
Solidad: What’s up with you?
Harley: We’re just concerned Marcus. I got a little worried when I didn’t see you in first period this morning. Plus, your little buddy Marisa didn’t even see you all day.
Drew: Plus, you are never late to anything. Why would you start on the most important rehearsal for Les Mis?
Marcus: What? It was only one day where I screwed up. Don’t you think I deserve the benefit of the doubt?
Erika: You better hope this is your one and only flake!
Marcus: I'm sorry. I just caught up with...
Will: I don't care if you got caught up in a corruption scandal. Get your act together! If this play goes down, I will see to it personally that you will never act in another play as long as you are in this school. Even though, I'm a senior and my power can only affect you until May when I graduate, but you see where I’m going with this. (They all leave)
Marcus: Okay, focus! You can do it!
Marisa: Marcus.
Marcus: Oh great! Now I suppose you are going to chew me out too. I guess this isn’t really my best day ever!
Marisa: No, after I saw everyone else chew your head off, I decided to back off. But don’t think this means you’re off the hook with me! Now then, who is this mystery woman?
Marcus: She’s no mystery, I introduced her to you.
Marisa: I’m surprised you remember anything after the way you were with Lovrina outside. Now, we talk all the time and this is the first I hear of you two together. When did you guys hook up? Was it a week ago or something?
Marcus: Actually, it was this morning!
Marisa: THIS MORNING?! And she’s playing tonsil hockey with you already?
Marcus: Jealous? (Marisa growls) I would think you were jealous, as you wish you could do the same thing with Tracey. (Marisa punches him)
Marisa: Watch it! (She walks off)
Narrator: Les Mis came and went! And it was a huge hit with the entire school. We join the crew on the final night. As the actors give their final bow, their adoring audience awaits their arrival to give them praise and cheer.
Misty: You guys were really great!
Sakura: Congratulations on a job well done.
Marcus: Thank you all! Ash, I take it you had a nice nap.
Ash: No, I actually stayed up for the entire play. I couldn’t sleep even if I tried because of Brock and that little vixen around his arm. There’s just something about her that I just don’t trust. Do you get what I’m saying? (Lovrina walks up)
Marisa: I get the feeling.
Lovrina: Marcus, you were so beautiful up there. Better looking than Tom Cruise and a better actor too!
Marcus: You really think so?
Marisa: (Silently) A farting ape is better than Tom Cruise.
Lovrina: Let’s go outside so we could have a little alone time.
Ash: Who is that?
Marisa: That’s Lovrina! She’s Marcus’s new whore, I mean girlfriend.
Sakura: Oh, do I sense a bit of jealousy from you? Another girl is stepping into your territory and you feel threatened!
Marisa: What, no! Marcus and I have been friends for years. We made a promise not to date each other for a number of reasons.
Tracey: Hey Marisa!
Marisa: Tracey! What’s with the bouquet of roses?
Tracey: Oh, I wanted to give a rose to everybody in the play. Here you go! You get the first one. (Marisa blushes) Say, where’s Marcus?
Marisa: I don’t know and I don’t care! (She walks off)
Sakura: Marisa, come back! You promised to introduce me to Will! He’s so cute!
Narrator: During the next week, Marcus and Lovrina’s relationship blossomed and went a little past making out in a damp closet. Marcus started buying things for Lovrina and in return, he got a little action...or close to no sex as possible. With this, Marisa started to get a little suspicious of their whole relationship. Meanwhile, Brock was on top of the world with his new girlfriend Temaku. Brock hasn’t really been this happy in his whole life, so this is a new feeling for him. So, we rejoin everybody about a week after the production of Les Mis was over, in the cafeteria.
Sakura: If she keeps that up, she’s going to suck Marcus’s face up.
Marisa: That would be relevant.
Sakura: Is it time that I bring up the hint of jealousy again?
Marisa: I’M NOT JEALOUS! There’s just something about her that I don’t trust. But I don’t have any proof to go on, so I’m stuck.
Misty: Why don’t you just admit to yourself that Marcus is happy and has found someone who makes him happy and be happy for him?
Marisa: Be anymore cheerful and you’ll give us all diabetes! (Sighs) Don’t get me wrong you guys, I trust Marcus. It’s just that he’s like the older brother that I never had. You see, the both of us are only children and ever since we met each other, we promised to always look out for each other. For ten years, we’ve been through it all, through the good and the bad. It would break my heart to see him get his heart broken. Do you guys see what I mean?
Misty: But if you really want to make Marcus happy, you should accept the person he’s dating. (Marisa sighs) Just try to get along with Lovrina. (Brock and Temaku walk up)
Sakura: Hey you two!
Temaku: HEY BACK OFF YOU HUSSY!!!
Brock: Temaku!
Temaku: I’m sorry Brockie-poo! It was just a slip of the tongue! I promise that it won’t happen again.
Brock: Right. Excuse me you guys, I’m going to get some food for the two of us. (He walks off)
Temaku: (Happily) I’ll be waiting for you! (Angrily) Alright you hussies, I don’t like how you three are stepping in on my man!
Sakura: Whoa! I only said hi to Brock!
Temaku: I’ll let that go this time! But you three girls better remember this, if you come anywhere near my man again, there will be dire consequences. I know people! My father knows people! One false move and I'll make sure you're a corpse in the quarry. (Brock comes back)
Brock: I’m back!
Temaku: (Happily) Oh Brock honey, why don’t we eat outside! It’ll be much quieter and it’s such a beautiful day out.
Brock: Okay, sure. I’ll see you guys later! (They leave)
Misty: What a bitch!
Marisa: I think bitch is putting it too nicely. I thought I was worried about Marcus, but this looks to be very serious. (Ash walks up) Hey, how come you’re not playing basketball today?
Ash: It’s Brock and that girl! Apparently, she won’t let him play with us because she’s afraid playing with us for too long will result in homosexuality or something like that. I need another man! Misty, you’re man enough! (Misty slaps him)
Misty: Bonehead! (Tracey walks up)
Tracey: Hey you guys!
Ash: PERFECT! Come on Tracey, you’re going to play basketball with me!
Tracey: But I don’t like basketball! (They leave)
Marisa: AH! I got an idea! I don't know why I didn't think of this last week.
Sakura: Fill us in!
Marisa: Not yet. I'll see you guys later. (A little later in the front office) You've got to be kidding me! Nothing is in her file? Her file is clean? God damn it! (At the basketball courts)
Morrison: And another basket for Morrison and Richie! Well Ashy-boy, looks like you’re losing your game!
Ash: Come on Tracey, we’ve got to beat these clowns!
Tracey: Like I told you Ash, I don’t like basketball and I’m not too good in playing this either. (Morrison throws the ball at Tracey’s head)
Morrison: Oops! (Daisy walks by)
Daisy: Oh Tracey, are you okay?
Tracey: I’ll be alright, don’t you worry about a thing!
Daisy: Oh poor baby! (She kisses him on the forehead) Now be careful, I’ve got to go! (She walks off)
Richie: Tracey may suck when it comes to basketball, but apparently he’s pretty good at getting pity from hot, blonde, cheerleaders. He has so much to teach us!
Ash: Save it for a different day Richie, now we play!
Narrator: During the next couple of days, Marcus and Lovrina continued their love and both were super happy together. Marisa tried to give their relationship a chance by accepting it, but couldn’t help but notice that something was wrong. Meanwhile Brock started to feel a little uneasy around Temaku as she has become the dominant one in the relationship. (Brock sneaks around) Talk about pussy-whipped!
Misty: Well, look’s like we’ve got a new person join us at our table. Is he a friend of yours Ash?
Ash: I don’t know Misty, he doesn’t look familiar to me. I’m sorry sir, do we know you?
Sakura: Did Temaku let you off the leash?
Brock: Okay, I deserve that you guys. But I really need your help right now. I need a chance to be myself again and I cannot do that being attached to the hip with Temaku.
Misty: I thought that you liked the girl.
Brock: I do and trust me no other girl will do the things she does to me. But she’s just so smothering! I always feel like somebody’s watching me.
Sakura: And you have no privacy?
Brock: Exactly!
Ash: Honestly, I thought that Temaku would snap out of it once the lump on her head went away. Oh well! So you want us to help you two break up?
Brock: Would you? And I might as well ask Marisa as well. She has a thing for destroying people’s lives. Where is she?
Sakura: We really haven’t seen much of Marisa in the last few days.
Misty: She’s still convincing herself that Lovrina is bad for Marcus.
Brock: Lovrina? (Looks at her) HOLY CRAP! How did Marcus bag that sexy thing?
Temaku: (Screaming) BROCK!
Brock: Ah! I have to get out of here right now! If she asks, you never saw me. (Brock runs off)
Misty: Never seen a man so whipped so fast! (At another table)
Winona: Marisa, come sit with us. (Marisa sits down) Hey girl, I just wanted to know how you were doing.
Marisa: I’m okay.
Lanette: You don’t have to lie to us, we know something is up.
Winona: Lanette! What she’s trying to say is that you seem like something is bothering you. But of course, we don’t mean to pry into your personal life, just a little concerned.
Marisa: Thanks Winona. It’s just that I’m a little worried about a certain friend of mine.
Lanette: It wouldn’t be that boy-toy of yours Marcus?
Winona: Lanette!
Marisa: He’s just a friend, really! But yeah, it kind of has to do with Marcus. Even though I’ve tried, I just can’t trust his new girlfriend. There’s just something about her that makes me feel uneasy.
Lanette: Honey, I know exactly how you feel. But don’t worry! The uneasiness will go away with time and I speak from experience.
Winona: What experience might that be?
Lanette: (Nervous laugh) Anyways Marisa, who’s the girlfriend?
Marisa: Her! Lovrina!
Winona: Uh-oh!
Marisa: Why uh-oh?
Winona: Well Lovrina doesn’t really have such a positive reputation around parts of the school.
Lanette: WHORE! WHORE! SHE’S A WHORE!
Winona: Okay, there you go, she said it.
Lanette: (Panting) Wait, there’s more! She cheats on men, she sleeps around, and on top of which a gold digger.
Marisa: Really?
Lanette: Now, I ain’t saying she’s a gold digger. But she ain’t messing with no broke…
Marisa: Drop the “N” bomb and I’ll snap your neck!
Lanette: Sorry about that! But she’s nothing but a skanky, trashy, two-timing, VD swarming, slut! She makes Daisy Waterflower seem so clean! If you want what’s best for your friend, you’ll get him away her.
Wallace: Hey, she’s gone!
Lanette: Ha! You’re not the only one who can inspire people Winnie! (Winona groans)
Marcus: I love you more.
Lovrina: I love you more. (Marisa clears her throat) Can I help you?
Marisa: I hate to interrupt your love fest but I would like to speak to Marcus in private if you don’t mind. (Lovrina leaves)
Marcus: What’s on your mind?
Marisa: Marcus, I’ve tried and I mean really tried to like Lovrina. But I honestly think she’s no good for you.
Marcus: Huh?
Marisa: Look, I don’t want to see you get hurt and Lovrina is definitely the type who would do it to you.
Marcus: My Lovey-dovey wouldn’t ever do that to me. Oh, I see! Look Marisa, just because you are jealous at other people’s love life doesn’t mean you have to ruin it for them. It’s not my fault that you don’t have a boyfriend, but trying to get me to break up with Lovrina is not the answer!
Marisa: But Marcus…
Marcus: Save it! I don’t want to hear it from you. If you can’t be happy for me and Lovrina then I don’t want to see you again. (Marisa tears up and runs off)
Marisa: (Thinking) Damn you Marcus! (Bumps into Todd) Oh sorry about that!
Todd: Marisa? What’s wrong?
Marisa: Oh great! I bet you’re going to take a picture of me crying and post it on the internet or in the school paper. Go ahead and make my day!
Todd: Marisa, I know why you are so upset. It’s because of Marcus dating Lovrina isn’t it? I feel the same way you do, I don’t trust her either.
Marisa: You don’t?
Todd: Not at all! And if you want to know the truth, I’d like to get back at that bitch with all my heart!
Marisa: Why all of the hostility?
Todd: Lovrina was my ex-girlfriend! We went out for three weeks and then she started to cheat on me with Marcus. My best friend of all people!
Marisa: So Lanette was right! Todd, you’ve got to help me get the dirt on her.
Todd: You leave that to me and my camera! (Outside)
Ash: Where is he? We’re not doing this without him!
Sakura: There he is! He’s the one looking like Inspector Gadget! (Brock walks up)
Brock: So what’s the plan?
Ash: What plan?
Brock: What do you mean? You mean to tell me that you all didn’t think up of a plan?
Misty: We can’t do that within five minutes you dumb-ass!
Sakura: Tell us Brock, how did Temaku fall in love with you in the first place?
Brock: Well, I was on the basketball courts playing a game when Ash and Morrison got into yet another fight. During their fight the ball was thrown and hit Temaku on the head. I went over to see if she was okay, but then she fell in love with me shortly afterward. So what should be done you guys?
Sakura: Well, we could always have her be involved in another little 'accident' and we can plant somebody there to save her.
Brock: That’s all fine and dandy from your point of view but how the hell are we going to find someone gullible enough to do us this favor? (After school in the hallway)
Todd: Okay, she just went inside that classroom.
Marisa: Wait a second, that's... (Shudders) Ew...she went into that closet.
Todd: Closet? Oh, dude! Marcus, you are one class-act making out with that slut in the infamous Elm sex-closet! (Inside the closet)
Marcus: Oh baby, I love our sessions.
Lovrina: I've got to cut our session short today. But I'll see you tomorrow doll-face! (Outside the classroom)
Marisa: Looks like she'll be in there for a while. This might take a while so do you want me to get you a soda?
Todd: Hold the soda, she's leaving alone.
Marisa: Huh? Why would she...follow her! (Moments later in the parking lot) Rats, we can't follow her on foot if she's got a car.
Todd: I guess that's the end of this trail. (Horn honking) Huh? (A car door opens)
Lanette: Need a lift you two?
Marisa: Lanette, you're a lifesaver! (Inside the car)
Lanette: I kind of figured you two were going to do something involving Lovrina.
Marisa: This is so much easier than trailing her on foot. Thanks for the ride Lanette!
Lanette: It’s no problem. Besides, I want to see that slut squirm as much as you two want to. She’s broken up at least three relationships I’ve had in the last two years. Any ideas of where she could have gone?
Todd: I don’t know. But I think it’s a little suspicious that Marcus wasn’t with her. I do remember that when she started cheating on me, she would cut our make-out sessions short and leave suddenly! I’ll get back at that lying bitch!
Marisa: You really think she’s starting to cheat again, so soon?
Todd: We went out for three weeks and I didn’t find out until the third week that she was cheating on me. Perhaps it’s just Marcus’s time to be shafted.
Marisa: I knew there was something suspicious about a junior hitting on sophomores.
Todd: What are you talking about? That happens all of the time! (The car stops)
Marisa: Why’d we stop?
Lanette: The little slut just stopped to see her target. (They look out the window)
Todd: Who’s that guy?
Marisa: Noland? I’m sorry, that’s just sad when you go from a sweet and trusting guy like Marcus to Noland!
Todd: I’ve got to take a picture of this! Marcus is going to flip when he sees this!
Marisa: (Thinking) But it isn’t enough just for him to see pictures. (Aloud) I’ve got an idea. Lanette, drop us off here and go find Marcus. I think he needs to see this for himself.
Lanette: Okay. (She drives off)
Todd: Are you sure it’s wise to break his heart like this?
Marisa: He’s left me no choice. I have to do it. (A few blocks later)
Marcus: (Sighs) It's a little lonely on this walk without Lovrina. Maybe tomorrow I can take her home to meet the family. I'm sure they'll be thrilled. (Horn honking) Huh? (Car window rolls down)
Lanette: Hey Marcus, need a ride home?
Marcus: Sure thing. (Inside the car) Thanks for the ride Lanette.
Lanette: Oh, no problem dear. (Stomach growling) I guess I didn't eat that much at lunch today. Say Marcus, you don't mind it if I make a pit stop to get something to eat, do you?
Marcus: Not at all. Where are we going?
Lanette: I've got a place in mind. (Moments later at the coffee shop)
Marisa: There's Lanette's car and she got Marcus. This is working perfectly! (Nearby)
Lanette: Get a seat for me and I'll order something for the two of us.
Marcus: Sure thing.
Marisa: (Whispering) Come on, we have to sit in on this one. (They go inside) Come on, we’ve got to sit someplace where Marcus won’t see us. Grab some of these newspapers!
Todd: Hey, you think I can be your partner in crime now?
Marisa: Maybe when Harley goes straight! Now shut up and let’s watch the meltdown unfold! (Nearby)
Lanette: Okay Marcus, I got your drink. (Loudly) Lovrina, is that you? Oh girl, what are you doing here?
Marcus: Lovrina?
Lovrina: Oh, Lanette! How nice to see you here! Now tell me, what are you doing here?
Lanette: What? I can’t go to my favorite capitalistic coffee shop to get something to eat in peace? Or do you have something to hide from me?
Lovrina: Why would I have something to hide? Now go away, you bug! (Marcus walks over)
Marcus: Lovrina, who is this?
Lovrina: This is Noland! Noland, this is a little boy at our school, Merlin.
Marcus: Merlin? But Lovrina, I thought you were my girlfriend!
Lovrina: Why would a girl like me want to ever go out with such a little boy like you? I am not one to be tied down with some baby sophomore. I’m tired Noland!
Noland: Hey, let’s go back to my place! (They leave)
Marcus: Oh Lovrina! (He tears up and runs off)
Todd: Wow, he took it harder than I did.
Marisa: Oh Marcus. (Back at school)
Tracey: I’ve got a better idea! Why don’t you go kiss my ass? It’ll be a cold day in hell before I screw with that crazy bitch Temaku! (He leaves)
Ash: Oh, and I was so sure that Tracey would go for the offer.
Brock: Oh, forget about Tracey! What about me and saving me from this controlling, blue-haired witch?
Sakura: Who knows Brock? Maybe Temaku will break up with you eventually.
Brock: Impossible! Once you go Brock, you never go back!
Misty: Spare me!
Temaku: BROCK! WHERE ARE YOU?!
Brock: Ah, you’ve got to hide me! (He starts running)
Temaku: Brocky, where are you going? Come on, don’t play games with me. (He turns a corner) I’m not kidding Brock, get over here! (Bumps into another person and they both fall over)
Ash: I’ve got to help her! (Misty grabs him)
Misty: NO YOU DON’T!!!
Jimmy: Oh my goodness! Miss, are you okay? (Temaku opens her eyes) I’m so glad that you’re okay! (She grabs his hands) Um miss…
Temaku: You can just call me Temaku. Has anybody told you that you had beautiful eyes? (He blushes)
Jimmy: Wow, you’re too kind.
Temaku: Silly, you haven’t told me your name yet!
Jimmy: Oh, my name is Jimmy. (Brock runs up)
Brock: I just have to make sure of something. How are you feeling honey?
Temaku: I’ll be fine as long as you don’t call me honey! (Brock puts out his hand) Ew, don’t touch me you pervert. Come along Jimmy! Let’s go somewhere that’s a little quieter!
Jimmy: Yes ma’am! (They leave)
Brock: I’M FREE! I’M FREE! I’m finally a free man! Eh, hey wait a minute! God damn it! That also means I’m single again! THIS SUCKS!
Ash: Is that Brock sending out mixed messages again?
Misty: Nope, that’s Brock’s message saying, “Watch out ladies because I’m back.” (Back at the coffee shop)
Marisa: I knew she was no good.
Todd: Like I said, she screwed with my emotions a couple of weeks ago and now goes after one of my best friends. Now that’s hitting below the belt!
Marisa: I’ll say.
Lanette: So!
Marisa: So what?
Lanette: Oh for Christ sake Marisa! Your best friend is outside in tears because the girl he loved broke his heart. He could really use his little buddy out there to cheer him up.
Marisa: (Scoffs) After the way he treated me for the last few weeks, as far as I’m concerned, Marcus can kiss my ass.
Lanette: You know you don’t feel that way. After I saw how much you wanted to prove how big a phony Lovrina was, I bet you wanted to do it to show Marcus how much you really care for him. A true friend is always there with open arms and forgiveness.
Marisa: You know, you’re getting to be too much like Winona! (She goes outside)
Todd: Is she really going to cheer him up?
Lanette: If she is then I have to call Winona and tell her that her days as an inspiration speaker are over. (Outside)
Marcus: Lovrina. (Sighs)
Marisa: Marcus. (He turns around)
Marcus: So I suppose you know now. I suppose you know that Lovrina was just a big phony and how I was such an idiot for falling for her.
Marisa: I just wanted to see how you were feeling.
Marcus: I’ve been better.
Marisa: I know you’re heartbroken over Lovrina and I’m sorry you had to find out this way. You’ve always got to remember that there’s always somebody out there for you. It sure as hell wasn’t Lovrina, but the right girl should be there.
Marcus: Just the same way that one day Tracey will be your boyfriend.
Marisa: You are so lucky that you just got your heart broken! Otherwise I would pound your face in! (Marcus starts to laugh) Oh, I see you’ve got enough energy to laugh.
Marcus: I’m sorry I’ve ignored you and treated you like crap. I should have known you wouldn’t try to hurt me, emotionally that is. (Marisa hugs him)
~*Preview*~
Marisa: It's the Prom and everyone is looking for that special someone to go with. (Sighs) Another opportunity is shot in my favor. I hope she sets this guy straight or there's gonna be trouble. Next time on Romance 101, Chapter 20...See you next time!
