Duodetricesimus: July 22, 2007: Promo
**This word does occur in the Aeneid, though less than premo (which it bears a striking resembalence to). A way to tell these two apart is that premo is pressing (pressi is the 3rd principal part) or supreme ruler of the universe (supreme < (probably) premo). Prompts bring out some of the words so that you can understand, and the 4th principal part of promo is promptus.**
promo, promere, prompsi, promptus
Definition: to bring out, produce, disclose, take/bring out/forth; bring into view; bring out/display on the stage
Sententia: JOptionPane arcam verbis prompsit.
JOptionPane brings out a box for words. (I am sorry for all of the people who have decided to forget that Java ever existed...But I am a TA at summer school now for CS, so I kind of have to think about Java).
NB: Bold and underline == macron
