Definition: [adv]: as if; as it were; just as if; as though; (numbers) about
Sententia: Soror quasi nescia processit, etiamsi frater minor eam pila percussit (forte, dixit, sed antea etiam acciderat).
The sister as if unaware proceeded, even though the younger brother struck her by means of a ball (by chance, he said, but it also had happened before).
This word is used in the syllabi only in Catullus 30, though it's relatively frequent in Latin prose.
