Margaret Montgomery FAIA

Margaret Montgomery FAIA (BArch University of Idaho 1983) first worked with the Seattle firm of Wyatt Stapper, joining NBBJ in 1990. 

As a national sustainable practice leader, Margaret Montgomery has devoted her career to creating healthy places that reunite people with nature.  She leads work that has far-reaching impact, improving building performance and ecosystem vitality.

She serves as NBBJ’s firmwide sustainability leader, managing numerous energy initiatives and crafting long-term strategies for greening the practice.  She has more than 25 years of experience in civic, commercial, corporate, higher education and healthcare projects.

Her work includes Google's Bayview Campus in Mountain View, California (tracking LEED Platinum); the US Courthouse in Billings, Montana (tracking LEED Gold); and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Campus in Seattle, the world’s largest LEED Platinum non-profit headquarters.
